On this the 18th day of August 1960, name on to be heard and considered the request of
the Karr County Archers to use a portion of the Kerr County Agricultural Ezhibition premiaee
Yor the purpose of constructing an archery range, and it appearing to the Court that the area
requested ie not presently being utilized by Kerr County and that the Kerr County Arohere
are a non-profit organization operating for recreational and amusement purposes, and that
such organisation proposes to carry liability insurance for protection of the public, it ie
Ordered on motion by Commieei oner Bartel, eeoonded by Commissioner Powell and unanlmously
approved by the Court that the Kerr County Archers be granted permission to use a portion of
the Agricultural Exhibition premiaee bounded by State Highway No. 27 on the north, a lino no'
more then fifty feet east of the old gravel pit on the east, the old San Antonio Highway on
the south, and American Legion property on the west, such use to be Yor recreational and
amusement purposes with no charges to be levied by Kerr County, provided however, that Kerr
County reserve the right to terminate the right oY use by said Kerr County Arohere either in
whole or 1n part at 8={y time.

This the 18th day of August 1960, came on to be considered by the Court the payment of
contract labor bills for Fencing on F/M Hiwy 689. On motlon made by Commissioner Stone, sec-
onded by Commissioner Powell, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorised to issue vouchers for wont rant labor bills every Friday, aub~ect to
being sworn to by Commissioner of Precinct No. 2.

On this the 26th day of August 1960, came on to be heard and aom idered the matter of
entering into aotttrac tural agreement xith the Taxae State Highway Department for procurement
Right oP Way for that portion of II. S. Highway No. 39, to be constructed Sn Kerr County, Texas;
r and it appearing to the Court that the said proposed aontraot submitted by the Taxae Highway
Department should be entered into, it Sa hereby Ordered. that the Court bs authorized to sign
contrao to on behalf of Kerr County. Upon motion by Commlaeionsr Brewton, seconded by Commi~s-
ioner Powell, the foregoing order was approved by unanimously vote of the Court.
