On this the 18th day of August 1960, oame on to be heard and considered the request oI
the Kerr County Archers to use a portion of the %err County Agricultural Exhibition premises
for the purpose of constructing an archery range, and it appearing to the Court that the nrei
requested ie not presently being utilized by Kerr County and that the Kerr County Archers
are a non-profit organization operating for recreational and amusement purposes, and that
such organization proposes to carry liability insurance for protection of the public, it ie
Ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, eeaondad by Commiealoner Powell anfl unanimously
approved by the Court that the %err County Arahere be granted permission to use s portion of
the Agricultural Eahlbition premises bounded by State Highway No. 27 on the north, a line no'
more than fifty Yeet ee et of the old gravel pit on the east, the old San Antonio Highway oa
the south, and American Legion property on the west, such use to be for recreational and
amusement purposes with no charges to be levied by Kerr County, provided however, that Kerr
County reserve the right to terminate the right of use by said Kerr County Arohers either in
whole or in part at any time.

This the 18th day of August 1960, came on to be considered by the Court the payment of
contrast labor bills for fencing on F/M Hiwy 689. On motion made by Commissioner Stone, ee~
onded by Commissioner Powell, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and Coun
Treasurer be authorized to issue vouchers for wont raot labor bills every Friday, eub~ect to
being sworn to by Commissioner of Precinct No. 2.
