On thin the 18th day of August 1960, Dame oa to be heard and considered the request of
the Kerr County Archers to uea a portion of the Kerr County Agricultural Ezhibition premises
for the purpose of aonatruoting an arohery range, and it appearing to the Court that the arei
requested ie not presently being utilized by Kerr County and that the %err County Arahera
are a non-profit organization operating for reoreational and amusement purposes, and that
euoh organization prepense to Derry liability inauranoe for protection of the publio, it ie
Ordered on motion by Commissioner Hertel, eeoonded by Commieeloner Powell and unanimously
approved by the Court that the Kerr County Archers be granted permiaeioa to use s portion of
the Agricultural Exhibition premises bounded by State Highway No. 27 on the north, a line ao~
more than fifty feet east of the old gravel pit on the east, the old San Antonio Highway on
the south, end Amerloan Legion property on the west, euoh use to be for recreational and
amusement purposes with no oharges to be levied by Kerr County, provided however, that Kerr
County reserve the right to terminate the right of use by said Kerr County Archers either in
whole or in part at any time.

This the 18th day of August 1960, came on to be oonsidered by the Court the payment of
cent rant labor bills for fencing on F/M Hiwy 689. On motion made by Commissioner Stone, sec-
onded by Commissioner Powell, the Court unanimously approved that the Oounty Clerk and County
Treasurer be authorised to issue vouchers for aont raot labor bills every Friday, eub~ect to
being sworn to by Commissioner oY Preoinot No. 2.

On this the 26th day oP August 1960, acme on to bo heard and aoneldered the clatter of
entering into aontractural agreement xith the Texas State Highxay Department for proourement
Right of Way for that portion of U. S. Highxay No. 39, to be constructed in Karr County, Texas;
! and it appearing to the Court that the said Dropoaed oontraat submit tad by the Texan Highway
Department should be entered into, it is hereby Ordered that the Court b• authorized to sign
contracts on behalf of Kerr County. Upon motion by Commissioner Brewton, seconded by Cocmnies-
Sonar Powell, the foregoing order was approved by unanimously vote of the Court.
