On this the 12th day of September 1960, 6eme on to be heard and considered the matter of
surplus funds on deposit in the 1931 Road Bond Sinking Fund, and after reviexing the statue oP
the remaining re qu irementa of said sinking Fund, it is the finding of the Court that total out
standing pr ino ipal and interest requirements of said 1931 Road Bond Issue era $15,375.00, all
of which amount is due and payable on February 10, 1961,
And St is the Further finding of the Court that there has been appropriated by the State
oP Tessa from available ilutde the sum of $5,593.43 and that there has been withheld from Kerr
County~a share of the surplus in the County and Road District Highway Fund the sum oP $9,781.5
the said txo amounts totalling $15,375.00;
And it Se the further finding of the Court that there are presently on deposit with the
Board of County and Dia trlot Road Indebtedness at Austin, Texas, U,S. Government Bonds, Series
"G", in the face amount oP $50,000,00 belonging to Kerr County=
It is therefore the finding of the Court that the sum of $24,988.41 aurrantly on deposit
to the credit of said sinking 11:nd in the County Deposit orp is Par in excess of any claims
xhich co}ild vest against said sinking Hind by operation oP law.
It is therefore ordered that the Tre aeurer create a new fund to ba known sa "Special Righ
of-Way Fund", and that the sum of $24,9Q8.44 be transferred by the County Clerk and County
Treasurer from said 1931 Road Bond Sinking Fund account to said Spaniel Right-of-Way Fund sad
that ouch funds transferred be expended only for purposes incidental to the procurement of
rights-of-way for highways, farm-to-market ancj/or lateral roads in Kerr County, Texas, such
eapendlturea being in accordance with the laws of the State of Taaes and in keeping with the
purposes for which the ~aaid 1931 Road Bond issue was originally authorized.
The foregoing order xae duly passed on motion by Commiaeioner Bartel, seconded by Commies
inner Powell and unanimously approved by the Court.

On the 12th day of September 1960, came on to be heard and conal dared the matter of a
Right of Way Procurement Contraot xith the Texas Highway Department for the Proaure~ne nt Right
of Way for that portion of Slats Highway No, 39, to b• co na truc tad in Kerr County, Texas, and
St appearing to the Court that the said Right of Way Procurement Contraot as submitted on Form
D-15-38, by the Tessa Highvap Department should be entered into; it is hereby Ordered that the

said proposed contract be entered into by Commlasionera~ Court of Karr County, Texee, and that
the County Judge be, and is hereby authorized and direo tad to execute said contract for and on
behalf of Kerr County, Teaea, end that he further be, sad Se hereby authorized to execute for
and on behalf oS Karr County, Texas, any individual right-of-way contrasts arising therefrom,
including those with affected utility companies; and it is further Ordered that the Clsrk.of
this Court be directed to furnish a copy of this Order to the Texas Highway Department.

On this the 12th day of September 1960, came on to bs heard and oonsi dared the matter of
alsaelfyi ng lands in Kerr County for tae purposee and setting valuations to be employed by the
Taz Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 1861 ad valorem taxes; and it
appearing to the Court that the following minimum standards of valuation should be employed Lo
secure fair, just and equal renditions, it is Ordered and the Tea Assessor of Kerr County is
herewith inetruo fed to employ the following minimum values in taking renditions for 1961 ad val
cram taxes, it being the intent of the Court that the following values shall be a binding
but shall not be construed ae in amyway constituting a maximum value. Minimum valus-
~tion herewith ORDERh~ are as follows, to-wit:
Reach or grazing lnnda at X5.50, ~ly.ii0 and y~3.30.per sore, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands at $16.50 and X11.00 per acre, depending on quality;
Cattle and horses $25.00 per head, sheep $3.50 per head, goats $2.50 per head;
