N0. $$$1 RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED ON SECOND SENATORIAL ELECTION
This the 31st day of May 1961, came on to be considered by the Court the returns to be
canvassed to determine the results of the Second Senatorial Election held on May 27th, 1961.
Wherefore the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the 16 election precincts
and the Absentee Box, ie of the opinion that said returns, after having been opened and can-
vassed are true and correct and should be approved.
On motion made by Commissioner 3chwethelm, seconded by Commi asi ones 9ton s, the returns ae
canvassed and tabulated in Volume p, page 95, Record of Election Rsturne, and as certified
thereto by each member of the Court, ere in all respects approved.

N0. $$$2 PAYMENT OF ELECTION OFFICERS
This the 31st day of May 1961, cams on to be examined by the Court the claims filed by
each election official indicating the number of hours each had rendered in the performance of
his duties voting and preparing the returns for the Second Special 9enat oriel Election held
on May 27th, 1961. It appearing to the Court that said officers should be paid the sum of
X1.00 per hour and Precinct Judges X2.00 extra for bringing in the returns of the Election,
on motioa made by Commissioner Stone and seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Cota•t unanimousl
approved for paymex:t the designated amounts be alloxsd each official axd Judge, as pen atate-
menta filed herein out of General Fund.

NO.. $$$3 APPROVAL OF TERRACING CONTRACTS
On this the 31st day of Play 1961, on motion made by Commi sai ones Bartel, seconded by
Commissioner Stone, the following applications for terracing were unanimou slq approved by the
Court: B. E. Bolton Precinct 2
C. T. Bledsoe Precinct 2
said contracts entered into by and between the Commissioner of Precinct 2 and the
ed parties, as per contracts on file,. under Article 2372 c.
