On motion by Commie eionsr Bartel, eenonded by Commissioner 3chwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the bide be aalled doxn from the table for further study and oo nsideratioa. o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 8916 ORDER ACCEPTING BID OF FRANK THOMASON FOR WIDENING G STREET BRIDGE On this the 19th day of July 1961, came on to be heard and oonsidered by the Court the various bids for xidening the G Street Bridge, haret of ore reaeivad by the Court on July 10th, 1961 which said bide had been tabled for study pursuant to Order No, 8900-entered that date, and which bide had been aalled from the table for further consideration pursuant to Order No. 8915 entered this date, and after due del lberation and study it appearing to the Court that t 'i, bid as submitted by Mr. Frank Thomason of Kerrville, Texan is the lowest and heat bid, it ie Ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sahwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that the base bid of Mr. Frank Thomason of Kerrville, Texas to widen the G, Street Bridge crossing the Guadalupe River as per plena and apeo ifiastlons for the sum of $13,966,00, together xith hie submitted unit pr iaes far eo ntingent faatora ba in all things accepted, and that the County Judge and County Clerk be authorised to sign -~ the stipulated form of contraot upon its execution by Mr. Frank Thomason, and St ie further Ordered that upon the exeoution of proper performance bond by the coat rector and upon approval of said bond by the County Judge and County Attorney by endorsement thersoa, the County Judge shall ba author- ized to issue proper xritten orders for the oontractor to prooeed xith aotual co nstructioa sa per contract. o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 8917 ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERS FROM 3CHREINER ROAD FUND AND CITY OF KERRVILLE On this the 19tka day of July 1961, came on to be heard and co naldared the offer oP the Schreiner Road Pond to oontr ibute $10,000.00 toward the widening of the G Street bridge; also the offer o1 the City of Kerrville toward the participation in the amount of $2500,00 and an amount oP not more than $500.00 Por nontingenc iea.
