On Chia the 19th day oP July 1961, oame on to be examined by the Court the five bids that
were tabled on the widening oP 6 Street Bridge. Oa motion by Commie aioner Bartel, seconded by
Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the bide be called down from the
table Tor Further study and conaideratioa.

N0, 8916 ORDER ACCEPTING BID OF FRANK THOMASON FOR WIDENING G STREET BRIDGE
On this the 19th day of July 1961, oame on to be heard and oo naidered by the Court the
various bids Tor widening the G Street Bridge, herst of ore received by the Court on July 10th,
1961 which said bide had bean tabled for study pursuant to Order No. 8900.sntered that date,
and which bide had been nailed from the table for further conaiderat ion pursuant to Order No.
8915 entered this date, and after due deliberation and study it appearing to the Court that th
bid as submitted by Mr. Frank Thomason of Kerry ills, Texan is the lowest end beat bid, it is
Ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, ae conded by Commiealoner Sohwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court that the base bid of Mr. Frank Thomason of Kerrville, Texas to widen the
G, Street Bridge crossing the Guadalupe RSver ae per plane and spenlPicatione for the sum of

aacepte d, and that the County Judge and County Clerk be authorised to sign -~ the at ipulated

N0. 8917 ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERS FROM 9CHREINER ROAD FOND AND CITY OF KERRVZLLE
On Chia the 19th day oP July 1961, came on to be heard and co na idered the offer oP the
Schreiner Road Fund to contribute $10,000,00 toward the widening of the G Street bridge; also
the offer of the City of Kerrville toward the participation Sn the amount of $2500,00 and an
amount oP not more than 500.00 for nontingenc ies. On motion by Commissioner Sahwethalm and
duly seconded by Commissioner Powell, the Court unanimously voted to accept the above offers.
