AND OTHER PROPERTY
On this the 11th day of September 1961, came on to be heard and considered the matter of
classifying Ian da in Kerr County for tax purposes and setting velvet Ions to be employed by the
Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Taxae, in taking renditions for 1962 ad valorem taxes; and it
appearing to the Court that the following minimum st andarda oT valuation should be employed to
secure fair, dust end equal renditions; it is Ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is
herewith instructed to employ the following minimum val uea in taking renditions for 1962 ad
valorem taxes, St being the intent of the Court that the following values shall be a binding
minimum, but shall not be construed as in any xay constituting a maximum value. Minimum valua-
tion herewith ORDERED are ae follows, to-wit:
Ranch or grazing lands at $5.50, $!1.110 and $3,30 per acre, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands at $16.50 and $11.00 per acre, depending on quality;
Cattle and hor sea $25,00, sheep $3,50 and goats at $2,50 per head;
Automobile at 30,E of Retail Book value for models 1959 and newer, including those
held by dealers.
All other property including me rchandisel, Snve ntorlea, aircraft, real estate not
othe rwiee herein mentioned, at not less than 25~ of actual value.
Motion duly made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Coaanlsaioner Bartel, and adopted
the Court, effective this date.

	of Colonel L, R. Wolfe, Assistant Dafenae Coordinator and Civil Defense Director of Kerr Count
	attending the oonl'erenca at Auat in, Texea on November 13th and Myth. Ott motion by Commiasio nee
	Stone and aeco nded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that he be authorize
	to attend said meeting, and that the expe nee account be set at seven cents per mile for travel,
	and expenses for meals and lodging be allowed by the County.

	Thls the 11th day of September 1961, on motSoa by Commissioner atone and seconded by
,-	Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County Livestock Shows
-~	Association, Inc, be authorized to construct Lha exhibition arena and soaking faoilitiea of
that portion of the Agriculture Exhibition grounds lying west of the building and between Stag
Highway 27 and the old San Antonio Road, with the use of this arena to be restricted to purpoa
authorized by the United States of America and St s~ oonveyanoea. Providing further that Kerr
County reserves the right terminating authority Por use upon sixty days written notice, with
the Aeaooiat ion having the authority to awve 1ta improveme nta upon such termination. Amd 11u~-
that that the ues herein authorised shall not be for private use.
