On this the 11th day of September 1961, came on to be cone idered by the Court the matter
of Colonel L. R. Wolfe, Assistant Defense Coordinator and Civil Da Sense Director oP Kerr Count
attending the aonferenae at Austin, Texsa on November 13th and 1(4th. On motion by Commissions
Stone and seconded by Commissioner Hertel, the Court unanimously approved that he be authorize
to attend aeid meeting, and that the expense account be set at seven cents per mile for travel
and expo naea for meals and lodging be allowed by the County.

N0. 8974 AUTHORIZING KERR COUNTY LIVESTOCK SNOWS ASSOCIATION, INC, TO CONSTRUCT ARENA
.. This the 11th day of September 1961, on motion by Cormaisaioner Stone and seconded by
Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that Karr County Livestock Shows
-~ Assoc lation, Inc. be authorized to construct the exhibition arena and se ak ing facilities of
that portion of the Agriculture Exhibition grounds lying west oP the building and between Stat
Highway 27 and the old San Antonio Road, with the use of th ie arena to be reatrlcted to purpoa
authorized by the United States of America and Lta~ oonveyancea. Prov iding further that Kerr
County reaervea'the right tsrminat ing authority for use upon sixty days written notice, with
the Asaoo iat ion having the authority to mave its improveme nta upon such termination. And iLr-
ther that the ua• he ra in authorized shall not ba Por private use.
