Order Requesting Texas Highway Department to
Convey Two Sections of Old Right-of-Way of State High-
way No. 41 to Kerr County,
On this the 11th day of March, 1963, came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the matter of disposition of two sections of old right-
situated in Kerr County
of-way of State Highway No. 41/and it appearing to the Court that the designa-
tion of the two following sections of Right-~f-Way as a portion of the State High-
way System has been cancelled by the terms of Texas Highway Commission
Minute Order No, 52189 passed January 14, 1963, namely:
1. From a junction of old and new locations of State Highway 41
at Station 64502 on new location eastward to another junction
of the old and new location of the highway at Station 671 /42 on
the new location, a total distance of approximately 0. 50 mile.
2, From a junction of the old and new locations of State Highway
41 at Station 796 f 02 on new location eastward to another
junction of old and new location of the highway at Station
811 f96 on the new location, a total of approximately 0.31
mile.
(The two foregoing Sections being described more particularly by
metes and bounds as set forth in Appendix "A" of this order),
And it further appearing to the Court that the land comprising
these two sections of old right-of-way is no longer needed for the use of
citizens as a road and that title to the said two sections of old right-of-way
was originally acquired in the name of Kerr County for use by the State of
Texas, it is therefore ordered on motion by Commissioner c ~~~.' ,
seconded by Commissioner ~T?~~~~F~, ~ and unanimously approved by
the Court that on the bags of the facts hereinabove set forth, the Texas High-
way Department and the State of Texas be requested to convey by quitclaim
deed or otherwise to Kerr County, Texas, all of the right, title and interest
of the State in the above referred to two sections of old Right-of-way of State
situated in Kerr County
Highway No. 41/which sections are more particularly described by metes
and bounds in Apendix "A" of this order, and it is further ordered that the
Clerk of this Court furnish the Texas Highway Department with a certified
copy of this order, and of Appendix "A" hereto.
