N0, 9347 PAYMENT TO KERR COUNTY MEMORIAL LIBRARY FOR PUBLIC SERVICE AS PER CONTRACT
On this the 14th day of January, 1y63 came on to be considered by the Court the payment
to be made to the Kerr County Memorial Library for rendition of public library service for Kerr
County as per contract for the year 1963; and it appearing to the Court that the sum of X2000.00
heretofore budgeted for such service for the year 1963 is reasonable and within existing con-
tractual terms, it is Ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk and Treasurer be, and are
hereby directed to draw voucher on the General Fund fcr rendition of Public Library service
for Kerr County as per contract for the year 1963.

N0, 9348 ORDER SETTING HOLIDAYS FOR COUNTY IN 1963
This the 14th day of January, 1963, came on to be considered by the Court the day and dates
to be fixed by the Court as legal holidays for the year 1963, also that the Court House shall
be closed on those days, and the Court is of the opinion that the following days and dates are
and shall be declared as legal holidays for the County:

N0, 9349 ORDER FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF COUNTY DEPOSITORY FOR TWO YEARS
This the 14th day of January, 1963 came on to be considered by the Court the necessity to
make notice by publication for the County Depository for two ensuing years, as per Article
25L{li, Vernons's Texas Statutes, and it appearing to the Court that such notice should be in
compliance with Article 2544 V. T. S, to enter into a contract with any banking corporation,
association or individual banker of said County, Łor the Depository of the County Funds, County
and District Court Trust Funds, and County Public School Funds of said County in anyNbank;
therefore, on motion duly made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and un-
animously approved by the Court, that the County Judge be, and is hereby directed to issue
such notice of publication in the official newspaper of Kerr County located w'_thin the City of
Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, within twenty days before the Regular February Term, to comply
with said Article 2544, v, T. s.

N0. 9350 APPOINTMENT OF COUNT'I HEALTH OFFICER
This the 14th day of January, 1963 came on to be considered by the Court, the necessity
for the appointment of a County Health Officer for the ensuing two years, and it appearing to
the Court that Dan W. Bacon, M. D. is capable, willing and duly qualified for such service and
should be appointed; therefore, on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Schwethelm, it was unanimously approved by the Court that Dr. Dan W. Bacon be, and he is hereby
appointed County Health Officer of Kerr County for the ensuing two years, retroactive January
1st, 1963, and said officer is hereby directed to take his oath of office in accordance with
the law.
