onded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that L,ee C, Mercer be granted
a -monthly allowance of x!}0,00 for assistance, payable out of General Fund by the County Treas-
urer, effective January 1st, 1963,

N0. 9353 ORDER DESIGNATING TERNS OF COlTRT OF THE JUSTICE COURTS OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
AND THE PLACES FOR THE HOLDING OF SUCH COURTS
On this the 10th day of January, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Gourt
the matter of designating the Terms of Court of the several Justice Precincts of Kerr County
and the places for the holding of such courts and it appearing to the court that the Constitu-
tion and Laws of the State of Texas vest the duty to do so in the Commissioners Court of Kerr "'
County and that designations heretofore made are in need of revision and clarification, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Witt and unanimously ap-
proved by the Court that the Terms of Court of the several Justice Precincts of Kerr County
shall each commence as follows, doing so with the month of February, 1963;
Justice Precinct No. 1 on the Second Monday of the month
Justice Precinct No, 2 on the Second Tuesday of the month
Justice Frecinct No, 3 on the Second Wednesday of the month
Justice Precinct No, ~ on the Second Thursday of the month
Justice Precinct No, 5 on the Second Friday of the month
and it is Further ordered that a new term of each such court shall commence on the correspond-
ing days of each calendar month occuring subsequent to the month of February, 1963, and that
all previous orders of this court in conflict herewith be repealed effective the second Monday
of the month of February, 1963; and it is further ordered that the place of holding court in
Justice Precinct No, 1 shall be at the Kerr County Court House in the City of Kerrville, Texas,
and that the place of holding Court in Justice Precincts Nos, 2, 3, 4 and 5 shall be at the
office of the Justice of the Peace of each of the respective Justice Precincts

the use of the Agriculture B~.~ilding on April 2nd thru April 6th, 1963 with no charge excepting
janitor services,

N0, 9355 AFPROVAL OF TERRACING CONTRACT IN PRECINCT 2
On this the 14th day of January, 1963 in accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c
of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, the application of Jay Wray for terracing on his land
about 2 miles southeast of Center Point, was approved by the Court and contract entered into
by and between the Commissioner of Precinct No, 2 and the aforementioned party. Motion duly
made by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, Motion carried,
