NIGHT WATCHMAN AND DBFUTY SHLRIF'F
On this the 11th day of February, 1963 ca-ue on to be heard and considered by the Court
the request of certain citizens of t13e town of Ingram, Texas to increase the monthly automobile
expense allowance of Josh Martin, Sr „ Night Watchman and Deputy Sheriff for the town of
Ingram and it appearing to the Court that the said citizens have increased their monthly
pledge as outlined in Order No. 8770 to the amount of X118,00 per month, it is ordered on
motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the
Court that the Salary of Josh Martin, Sr., as night watchman and Deputy Sheriff be set at the
sum oŁ x"100.00 per month and that he be granted an allowance for automobile expense of X35,00
per month, both effective February 1, 1963, this salary and allowance to remain in effect so
long as the monthly payments in the sum of w11t,00 continue and it is further ordered that for
the duration of this arrangement the Clerk and the Treasurer are authorized to draw a voucher
on the Officers Salary Fund monthly in the amount of X135.00 payable to Josh Martin, Sr.,
commencing February 1, 1963.

N0. 9372 ORDER REVISING SCHEDULE OF PARTICIFATION BY CITY OF KEkRVILLE IN PAYMENTS OF
SALARY OF PUBLIC WEIGHER OF PREC. #1
On this the 11th day of February, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the necessity of revising the schedule of participation by the City of Kerrville in the payment
of the salary of the Public Weigher of Justice Precinct 2do. 1 of Kerr County, which schedule
is set forth in Order No, 8165 entered Jan, 13, 1959 and recorded in Vol, L, Page 229 of the
Minutes of this Court, and it appearing that the salary of the said Public Weigher has been
reduced from x"150.00 to X100.00 per month effective January 1, 1963 at the request of the
official concerned, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Witt and unanimously approved by the Court that, effective with the month of January, 1963
whenever the monthly receipts of the Public Weigher are less than X100.00, the Treasurer submit
a billing to the City of Kerrville for 501 of the difference between the monthly receipts as
shown on the monthly report filed by the Public Weigher of Frecinct No. 1 and the amount of his ~
monthly salary of ~100,OG, and in any calendar month when his receipts may exceed the amount of
his monthly salary of X100.00, fifty percent of the amount in excess of X100.00 be credited
against subsequent amounts due Kerr County.

,dHEREAS, as a result of such construction the following described sections of the old location
of State Highway 1}1 are no longer needed for State Highway purposes:
From a junction of the old and new locations of State Highway 41 at Station 645+C2 on new
location eastward to another junction of the old and new location of the highway at Station
671+1;2 on the new location, a total distance of approximately 0.50 mile,
From a junction of the old and new locations of State Highway 1;1 at Station 796+02 on new

location eastward to another junction of old and new location of the highway at Station 811+96
on the new location, a total of approximately 0.31 mile.
From a junction of the old and new locations of State I3ighway 111 at Station 1129+00 on the new
location eastward to the junction of State Highways !I1 and 27 at Station 1172+83.3 on the old
location of State Highway 111, a total distance of approximately 1.05 miles.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED BY THE COMMISSION that the designation of the above described
sections of State Highway !+1 as State Highways be and is hereby canceled; and
FURTHER, that the State Highway Enginoer oe and is hereby directed to notify Kerr County of
this Commission action.

and unanimously approved by the Court.

This the 11th day of February 1963, came on to be considered by the Court the appoint-
ment of the necessary election officers for the ensuing year, for each of the nineteen
Precincts of Kerr County and the Absentee Box at the Court House, as shown on pages 266
through 272, Volume 1, Record of Election Judges for Kerr County, Texas. Motion made by
Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court
that said officers be appointed for the year 1963, and made a part hereof for all purposes.

No. 9376 ORDER CREATING F.M. 2771 Right-of-Way FUPiD
This the 11th day of February 1963, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity
of creating an F. M. 2771 Right-cf-Way Fund; therefore, it is ordered that the Treasurer
create a new fund to 'oe known as F. ;~I. 2771 Right-ef-Way Fund. Motion made by Commissioner

BREEDERS ASSOCIATION
This the 11th day of February, 1963, upon motion by Commissioner Witt, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the request of the Texas Corredale Sheep
Breeders Association for the use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building on May 25, 1963, at
a cost of X25.00 plus janitor service.
