)~ ~ N0, 9404 ORDER AUTHORIZING SHERIFF OLIVER MOORE TO CHARGE-OFF POLICE RADIO LISTED ON INVENTORY OF COUNTY PROPERTY CHARGED TO SHERIFF'S OFFICE On this the 11th day of March, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of one type 37180 General Electric single Police car radio belonging to Kerr County, heretofore charged to the Kerr County Sheriff's office, and appearing on the inventory of County Property in the custody of said Sheriff, which last inventory dated January 1, 1962 is on file in the office of the County Clerk, and it further appearing to the Court that one Type 37180 radio whioh appears on the said inventory is listed as being in the actual possession of Texas Ranger L. A. Purvis and has heretofore been, with the consent of the Commissioners Court of Karr County, exchanged for one Police Radio of equal value which was the personal property of the said L, H. Purvis, and that the radio so received in exchange has been hereto- fore installed in the International Fire Truck belonging to Kerr County and under the control of the Volunteer Fire Department of Kerr County, Precinct No. 4, Inc„ it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Barte],Commiasioners Wit t,Bertel & Stale voting "Aye; Commissioner Schwethelm abstaining, said motion carrying bq a majority vote, it was ordered that Sheriff Oliver Moore be authorized to charge-off one Type 37180 General Electric Police ,_., Radio off of his Jan uary 1, 1963 inventory of County Property, and that the exchange of Police Radios heretofore made between Kerr County and L, H. M. NAYLOR TO DONATE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F.M. ROAD 2771 IN EXCHANGE FOR CONSIDERATION OF ENTRANCE ROAD On this the 11th day of March, 1963, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the offer of H, M. Naylor to donate to Kerr County all of his right, title and interest in a 4,9 acre tract of land out of Surveys 392, 63 and 64 situated in Kerr County on Turtle Creek and being the same land described in a deed from Harry Karger, et ux, to H, M, Naylor as is of record in Volume 97, Page 338, Kerr County Dead Records, and to make said donation for and in consideration of Kerr County's agreement to construct an entrance road and turn-around area on the property of the said H. M. Naylor situated in the Shady Grove Addition to Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that it would be in the best interests of Kerr County to acquire title to the said 4,9 acre tract of land as a portion of its right-of-way procurement proceedures for F. M. Road 2771, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the offer of the said H, M. Naylor be accepted and that, upon the placing in escrow by the said H. M. Naylor of a deed Quitclaiming all of his right, title and interest in the said 4.9 acre tract to Kerr County (the escrow agent to be selected by the said H, M. Naylor and the County Judge of Kerr County) the Commissioner of Precinct No. 2 be authorized to proceed with the grading and placement of base material necessary to provide a 16 foot paved roadway and needed turnaround area, and that upon completion thereof, Kerr County shall be entitled to delivery of the deed placed in escrow; provided, however, that as a portion of the consideration of this transaction, Kerr r County will, within a reasonable time and as weather permits, apply a two course asphalt and
