N0. 9513 SETTLEP~iENT ,aITH TAX COLLECTOR FUk TAX YEAR 1962, ENDING JUNE 30th, 1963
This the 12th day of August, 1963 came on to be examined by the Court the settlement with
Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for the period ending June 30th, 1963 and it appearing
to the Court that said report is in proper form and should be approved; and
That the Tax Assessor-Collector be credited with the amounts as set forth on the current
tax roll of Insolvents, errors, Delinquents and Discounts Allowed; also that the Tax Assessor-
Collector be charged with the amounts collected in adoition to the current rolls of Insolvent
Tax collections, Redemption and Po 11 Taxes, as listed on the report.
On motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court un-
animously accepted said report as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk, for future
reference and subject to audit.

OCTOBER 7, 1963
On this the 12th day of August 1963, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the court unanimously approved the request of Hill Country Telephone
Coop. to use the Agriculture Building October 7, 1963, at no charge except janitor service.

employed as Assistant County Health Nurse, commencing September 1, 1963 for a period of nine
months thru May 31, 1964, and that she be paid a salary of $160.00 per month, including travel,
to be paid out of the General Fund.

On this the 12th day of August 1963, came on to be examined by the Court Certificatesof
Cancellation, Certificate Number 21198-21200 Inclusive and Certificates 16956-16966 Inclusive,
presented to the Court by Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, and it appear-
ing to the Court that the reasons set out in said Certificates for the cancellation of taxes
therein are good and sufficient, it is therefore Ordered by the Court that the said certificates
be granted and signed by the County Judge.
Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0. 9518 ORDER AL'T3ORILING APPOINTI',ENT OF ALICE McLEOD AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOk
On this the 12th day of August 1963, came on to be considered by the Court the application
of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and deputize Alice McLeod
as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled
to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore, on motion made by

Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said
officer be authorized to deputize Alice McLeod as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector at a monthly
salary of $210.00 ($2520.00 annually), effective August 12, 1963.

N0. 9519 APPROVAL OF TEkRACING CONTRACT
In accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c of the kevised Civil Statutes of
Texas, the application of Fred W. Sevey, for terracing of his land about 2 miles west of
Center Point, Texas, on Camp Christian Road in Precinct No. 2, was approved by the Court and
contract entered into by and between the Commissioner of Precinct No. 2 and aforementioned
party.
Motion made by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approv-
ed by the Court.

Un this the 12th day of Au rust 1963, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of the erroneous construction of a fence purporting to enclose the lands of S. R.
Asbeck and wife, Minnie Vetter Asbeck in Survey No. 49, William T. Harley situated in
Commissioners Precinct No. 2 of Kerr County and it appearing to the Court that B. D. Powell
did by warranty deed convey to Kerr County by metes and bounds a 60 foot wide roadway running
from the Elm Pass Road towards Starlite Village, said deed being of record in Vol. 102, Page
309, Kerr County Deed Records to which reference is made for further description, and it
further appearing to the Court that by warranty deed subsequently executed by B. D. Powell
et ux to S. k. Asbeck and wife, Minnie Vetter Asbeck as is of record in Vol. 108, Page 625,
Kerr County Ueed kecords, certain lands abutting the aforesaid roadway were conveyed, and in
so doing the said B. D. Powell, et ux specifically exempted such roadway from the terms of
their conveyance, and it further appearing to the Court that subsequent to receiving corvey-
ance of the lands abutting the said roadway, the said S. R. Asbeck and wife l~~innie Vetter
Asbeck and/or their agents, lessees, or employees did construct a barbed wire fence along
the west side of the said roadway as previously conveyed to Kerr County and in so doing did
erroneously encroach to a material extent on the lands owned by Kerr County as a public
roadway, and that the extent of such encroachment has been determined as a result of an actual
survey made on the Around by Louis Domingues, a duly licensed registered public surveyor
and County Surveyor of Kerr County, the results of which survey are shown on a map made and
dated August 9, 1963, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner
Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the said S, k. Asbeck and wife, Minnie
Vetter Asbeck be requested to remove forthwith the said erroneously constructed and encroach-
ing barbed wire fence from the lands heretofore conveyed to Kerr County the said division
line between the Roadway and the Asbeck property having been duly surveyed and marked on the
ground, and it is further ordered that a certified copy of this order, together with a copy
