N0, 9533 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF L. G. LACKEY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING OF SECTIONS 1, 2 AND

On this the 22nd day of August 1963, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of opening bids for Construction of Fencing of Sections 1, 2 and 4 along F/M 2771 R/W,
filed with the County Clerk, and it is the finding of the Court that the Bid of L, G, Lackey for
construction of fencing be accepted as the best bid at the rate of X700,00 per mile for low
fence, including one gate or cattle guard per each mile, All extra gates will cost X25.00 each,
The cost of construction of fencing along the Andrew J. Paris fence line does not include
the water gaps across the creek crossing, these water gaps to cost extra.

N0, 9534 ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR PARTIAL PAYMENTS TO FENCING CONTRACTORS FoR
FENCING CONSTRUCTION ALONG F/M 2771 R/W
On this the 22nd day of August 1963, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of establishing a procedure for the partial payments to Wiley W, Thurman and L, G,
Lackey for construction of fencing along the Right-of-Way for F/M 2771, and it appearing to the
Court that Kerr County has agreed to make partial payments for work done, and that in order to
expedite the completion of this project, it is ordered on motion made by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commmissioner Witt, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the Clerk and
Treasurer be authorized to draw vouchers on F/M 2771 R/W for partial payments to Wiley W,
Thurman and L, G, Lackey upon presentation of a written statement approving such payment,
approval to be evidenced by joint signatures of the Commissioner of Precinct No, 1 and the
County Judge, provided final payment shall be made only after acceptance of work performed by
the Commissioners Court and on the specific order of said court.

This the 22nd day of August 1963, upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sinner Bartel, with Commissioners Witt, Bartel and Stone voting "AYE" and Commissioner
Schwethelm abstaining from voting, said motion carrying by a majority vote, it is ordered by
the Court that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion
the sum of X2500,00 out of the General Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners'

Knapp Crossing Bridge by Frank Thomason be accepted and that full and final payment be made

On this the 22nd day of August 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of payment of the amount due as of August 1, 1963 to the Burroughs Corporation as per
rental contract with Kerr County and it appearing to the Court that rental in the amount of
$2,174,66 is due and payable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel seconded by
Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that the Clerk and the Treasurer
be authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund in the amount of $2,174.66, payable to the
Burroughs Corporation for payment due as per their invoice No, Ay1950-008,

Lorena S. Paris, to secure Łor the State of Texas a parcel of land consisting of 9.502 acres
of land out of Surveys 392, G, W, Braze al, 63, W. T. Crook and o2, W, T, Crook, together with
two channel easements comprising 0.375 acres out of Surveys 392 and 63, all the said lands
being situated in Kerr County, Texas, and
It appearing to the Court that the offer for land and damages made to the said Andrew B.
Paris and wife, Lorena S, Paris by Kerr County as is evidenced by Commissioners' Court order
No, 9531 entered on the 16th day of August, 1963, and recorded in Vol. M, Page 88 of the
