On this 9th day of September 1963, came on to be heard ape considered by the Court the -~
matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and setting valuations tc be
employee by the Tax Hssessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 1964 ad valorem
taxes; and it appearing to the Court th<~t the fol]owing minimum standards of valuation should
be employed to secure fair, just and enual renditions. It is therefore Ordered and the Tax
Assessor of Kerr County is herewith instructed to employ the following minimum values in taking
renditions for 1964 ad valorem. taxes, it being the intent of the Court that the following
values shall be a binding minirrnim, but shal] not. be construed a=, in any way constituting a
maximum value. Minimum valuation herewith OkDERED are as follows, to-wit:
Ranch or grazing lands at $5.50,$4.40 and $3.30 per acre, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands at $16.50 and $11.C0 per acre, depending on quality;
Cattle and horses $25.00, sheep $3.50 and coats $2.50 per head;
Automobiles at 25i. of xetail Book Value for models 1961 and newer, including those held
by dealers;
A11 other property including merchandise inventoried, aircraft, real estate not otherwise ^
herein mentioned, at not less than 25ia of actual value.
Motion duly made by Commissioner Schwethelrn, seconded by Commissioner Witt, and adopted
by the Court, effective this date.

officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore,
on motion made by Comrissioner Stone, seconded by Cor..mi.ssioner Witt, the Court unanimously
approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Wanda Ligon as a part-ti.ne Deputy Tax
Assessor-Collector, to be paid on an hourly basis.
