On this the 14th day of October 1963, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the
last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 & 4, Lateral Road Nos, 1, 3
Ec 4, General, Officers Salary, Airport Maintenance, F/M 2771 R/N, General Road and Bridge
and County Law Library as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 787 thru 790
Voucher Nos,7987 thru 8 113, which ware made a part hereof and oP this order. Motion made by
Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Witt and unanimously approved by the Court.

N0. 9569 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED
On this the lt}th day of October 1963 came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports for September of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas and the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved; therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by
Commissioner Witt, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and
filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit,

N0, 9570 ORDER SETTING TIME FOR OPENING OF POLLS FOR ELECTIOI~.S HELD IN KERR COUNTY
On this the 14th day of October,1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of setting the time for the opening of the polls for elections held within Kerr
County, Texas and it appearing to the Court that Article 2.01 of the Texas Election Code as
amended by the 58th Legislature authorizes the Commissioners Courts of Counties having less
than 100,000 population by the proceeding Federal Census to set the time for the opening of

the polls for various elections held within such Counties at 8:00 o'clock A.M, and it appear-
-- ing to the Court that Kerr County's population as shown bq the last proceeding Federal Census
was less than 100,000, and that no useful purpose would be served bq the opening of polling
places at 7:00 o'clock A,M „ it is ordered on motion bq Commissioner Stone, seconded bq
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved bq the Court that pursuant to authority contained
in Section 2.01 oP the Texas Election Code as amended by the Acts of the 58th Legislature that
effective this date, the polling places for all elections held within Kerr Countq shall open
at 8:00 o'clock A,M., it being the intent of this Court that this order shall apply to all
County wide, General and Special elections held at public expense, to all Party Primary and
Party Runoff Elections and to all elections of any character conducted by School Districts,
Municipalities, Water Control and Improvement Districts or any other Political Subdivisions
having their principal offices located within the boundaries of Kerr County, Texas.

N0, 9571 APPROVAL OF TERRACING CONTRACTS
In accordance with the provisions of Article 2372c of the Revised Civil Statutes of
Texas, the application of Arnold 0. Liesmann for terracing of his land 1 mile SW of Kerrville
on F M Road 689 in Precinct No, 1, the application of Milton Burney for terracing of his land
2 miles Northeast of Center Point in Precinct No. 2 and the application of R, H. Holekamp for
terracing of his land 12 miles East of Kerrville on Old Center Point Road in Precinct No, 3
were approved by the Court and contracts entered into by and between the Commissioners of
Precincts Nos, 1, 2 and 3 and aforementioned parties,
Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court.

N0, 9572 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S QUARTERLY REPORT ON TRUST FUND AND FINES
On this the 14th day of October, 1963, came on to be examined by the Court the Quarterly
Report of all monies and fees collected by Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, belonging to
officers, witnesses and other persons, remaining in her hands uncalled for by the parties
^ entitled thereto, for the period ending September 30, 1963 and held on deposit in the Countq
Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of X2366,29.
Also Quarterly Report of Fines Imposed, Jury and Library Fees, Judgments received and
collected in the County Court bq the Clerk of said Court, in the amount of X906,00,
It appearing to the Court that said reports are in due form and should be approved;
therefore, on motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court un-
animously approved said reports as submitted, to be filed xith the County Clerk,
