SCHWETHELM COMMISSIONER, Precinct No. 1; PRENTICE iiZTT COMMISSIONER, Precinct No, 2; ADOLPH BARTEL COMMISSIONER, Precinct No. 3; ROGER STONE COMMISSIONER, Precinct No. 4; and among other proceedings had were the Following: The County Judge introduced the following election order: WHEREAS, the Commissioners" Court of Kerr County, Texas, deems it advisable to submit to the resident qualified taxpaying voters of said County, who own taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, a proposition for the issuance of bonds of said County for the purpose hereinafter stated; therefore ,.., BE IT ORDERED BY THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS: That an election be held in said County on the 9th day of November, 1963, which date is not less than fifteen (15) nor more than thirty (30) days from the date of the adoption of this order, at which election the following proposition shall be submitted to the qualified taxpaying electors who own taxable property in said County and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, for their action thereupon: "SHALL the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to issue the bonds of said County in the total principal sum of FOUR HUNDRED TROUSAND 01}00,000) to mature serially at such time as may be deemed most expedient by the Commissioners' Court, but not later than forty (40) years from the date thereof, and to bear interest at a rate not to exceed SIX PER CENTUM (6~) per annum, and to levy ad valorem taxes sufficient to pap the interest on said bonds and create a sinking fund sufficient to pay the principal thereof at maturity, for permanent improvement purposes, to-wit: the construc- tion of improvements, additions and repairs to the County Courthouse and Jail Building located in the City of Kerrville, the county seat of Kerr County, Texas, pursuant to authority conferred by the Constitution and laws of the State of TexasY" THAT said election shall be held under the provisions of the Constitution and laws of -~o the State of Texas, particularly Chapter 1, Title 22, Revised Civil Statutes of 1925, and all persons who are legal voters of said Kerr County, Texas, and who are resident property tax- payers of said County and who have duly rendered their property for taxation, shall be entitled to vote at said election.
