G. LACKEY FOR F, T2. 2771 RIGHT-OF-WAY On this the 22nd day of November, 1963 Caere on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of payment due L, G, Lackey for fencing constructed for F. M, Road 2771 and the Court, after having first inspected the fencing constructed by L. G, Lackey pursuant to his bid accepted by the Court as per Order No, 9533 dated August 22, 1963, finds that a total of 31,Rb9 feet of fencing has been constructed in Sections I, II and IV together with s total of 15 gate and cattleguard openings and upon motion by Commissioner Schwethelm seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court it is ordered that the said fencing be accepted by Kerr County as completed and payment tYierefor be made as follows: Total Fencing constructed: 31,849 feet or 6 miles plus 169 feet at a price of ~p700.00 per mile- Gross Amount due $4,222,39 Less Partial Payments made X3,425,67 Balance Due ~ 796,72 Plus 9 extra gates @ X25,00 225,00 Total due on Bid ~p1,021.72 (It being understood that this amount does not include amounts due for extra fencing in closing Channel Easements, extra water gaps, etc, nor does it include the extra amount due for the difference between 770 feet of regular fencing and 770' of Deer Proof fencing constructed for Mrs, Ann Parker Davidson Cross) and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F,M, 2771 R-O-W Fund in the amount of X1,021,72 payable to L, G, Lackey in payment for the balance due as herein set forth, o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0, 9601} APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF L, G. LACKEY FOR EXTRA FENCING ON F/M 2771 R/W On this the 22nd day of November 1963, upon motion made by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, it was unanimously approved by the Court that L, G, Lackey be paid X265,74 for extra fencing done on F/M 2771 R/W in addition to fencing done under the terms of the original bid accepted August 22, 1963 by Order No, 9533, and the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to issue a voucher on F/M 2771 R/W Fund to L, G, Lackey in the amount of $265.74• o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0, 9605 ORDER AUTHORI7.ING KERRVZLLE TELEPHONE COMPANY TO ATTACH CONDUIT FOR LINES TO LEGION CROSSING BRIDGE On this the 22nd day of November, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the request of the Kerrville Telephone Company to attach a metal conduit for telephone cables to the side oŁ the Legion Crossing Bridge across the Guadalupe River, and it appearing to the Court that the granting of such a request would be in the best interests of the public and would not interfere with the public use of the said bridge or in any way endanger such bridge, 117 it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and un- ^ animously approved by the Court that the Kerrville Telephone Company be authorized to attach e metal conduit for telephone cables to the side of the Legion Crossing Bridge and to use and maintain such conduit for the purpose of carrying telephone cables across the Guadalupe River and it is further ordered that the permission herein granted is subject to the Kerrville Telephone Company~s liability to Kerr County for any damage that may be done to the said bridge either in the matter of installing or maintaining the said conduit. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0, 9606 ORDER AMENDING ORDER N0. 9525 DATED AUGUST 16, 1963 AND PROVIDING FOR A COLLECTION FEE FOR STATE POLL TAXES COLLECTED On this the 22nd day of November, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court that portion of Order No. 9525 dated August 16, 1963 levying a 25 cent County Poll Tax for the County for the year 1963 and it appearing to the Court that under the terms of Article 2,01, Title 122A, Taxation General, Texas Civil Statutes as amended in 1963, such levy was erroneous and it further appearing to the Court that Kerr County is vested with authority under the terms of said Article 2,01 as amended to levy a fee not to exceed twenty-five cents for the collec- tion of each state poll tax collected by the Kerr County Tax Collector and that it would be in the best interests of Kerr County to collect such fee for the issuance of each fully collect- ed State Poll Tax, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Order No. 9525 dated August 16, 1963 be amended Nunc Pro Tunc August 16, 1963 so as to eliminate the levy of a County Poll Tax in the amount of 25 cents and to substitute therefor an order that the Tax Collector of Kerr County shall collect a fee of 25 cents for the collection of each fully paid State Poll Tax collected by that office, said fee to be collected and deposition as set forth in said Article 2.01 as amended, it being the intent of this order that the said collection fee shall not apply to poll taxes collected from persons partially exempt from the payment thereof under any of the laws of this state, and that this order shall remain in effect for so long as it is not repeal- ed by the laws of the State of Texas or by action of this Court. "' o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0, 9607 ORDER TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND TO CORRECT ERRONEOUS PAYMENP OF CLAIM FROM OFFICERS SALARY FUND On this the 22nd daq of November, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the payment of the claim of C, R. Law Tax Records for the compilation of the Delinquent Tax Roll of Kerr County for the years 1919 - 1962, which payment was erroneously made from the Officers Salary Fund on October 14, 1963 in the amount of X838,23 and it appearing to the Court that while the amount of the claim paid was correct, it was erroneously paid from the Officers Salary Fund rather than from the General Fund of Kerr County as budgeted and required by law, it is therefore ordered on motion by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of ~p838,23 from the General Fund to the Officers Salary Fund to correct this error. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 9608 ORDER PROHIBITING HUNTING OF WILD GAME ANIMALS AND DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS ON CITY-COUNTY AIRPORT PROPERTY On this the 22nd day of November, 1963 came on to ba heard and considered by the Court
