ORDER N0. 9564 ORDER REQUESTING CITY OF KERRVILLE TO ANNEX HILLTOP VILLAGE ROAD INTO ITS CORPORATE LIMITS On this the 27th day of September, 1963 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of requesting the City of Kerrville to annex into its Corporate Limits the Public Roadway commonly known as the Hilltop Village Road, and it appearing to the Court that the Hilltop Village as established by the Methodist Church lies within the corporate limits of the City of Kerrville, and that the only route of access from the principal corporate area of the City of Kerrville to that portion of its corporate area containing Hilltop Village is that public roadway known as the Hilltop Village Road, and it further appearing to the Court that such roadway is present- ly outside of the corporate limits of the City of Kerrville, though serving as the sole connecting lines between. these areas and that this roadway has been constructed and paved by Kerr County at no costs to the municipality and it further appearing that the traffic flow and topographical features of the roadway now require an effective program of traffic control which the municipality could provide but which Kerr County cannot effectively provide, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Witt and unanimously approved by the Court that the City of Kerrville be requested to annex into its corporate limits the public roadway known as Hilltop Village Road, running from the present corporate limits of the Hilltop Village Property in an easterly direction to a point of intersection with the west line of the Harper Road, this request being made for the reasons above set forth, and it is further ordered that the Clerk of this Court prepare a certified copy of this order for transmittal to the City of Kerrville.
