ORDER RENAP4ING STREETS IN THE NORTH CENTER POINT ADDITION TO THE
TOWN OF CENTER POINT
On this the 6th day of December, 1963 came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the matter of clarifying the designation
of and renaming of certain streets in the unincorporated town of
Center Point addition to the town of Center Point and it appearing
to the Court that two streets designated on the Plat of the North
Center Point Addition to the Town of Center Point and designated
as "Avenue A" and "Avenue B" respectively as is shown on said
plat as recorded in Vol 1, P. 96 of the Kerr County Plat Records
bear the same name as two streets designated and named at an
earlier date in the Plat of the Walker Addition to the town of
Center Point as is of record in Vol. W, Page 381, Kerr County
Deed Records, and it further appearing to the Court this duplica-
tion of names would cause serious confusion in the matter of the
proposed erection of street signs in the Town of Center Point,
and it further appearing that Avenue A and Avenue B as designat-
ed in the Walker Addition to the town of Center Point were so
named more than 40 years prior to the platting of the Pdorth
Center Point Addition, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Witt, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved
by the Court that Avenue "A" as designated in the Plat of the
North Center Point Addition to the town of Center Point, Texas,
which plat is of record in Vol. 1, Page 96, Kerr County Plat
Records, be redesignated and renamed "Harless Avenue" and that
Avenue "B" as designated on said plat be redesignated and re-
named "Brink Avenue" and it is further ordered that the Clerk
of this Court file a certified copy of this order for record
in the Deed Records of Kerr County.
