On this the 10th day of August, 1964 cane on to be heard and considered by the Court the
locking of a gate across the Ashton Road, a public roadway in Precinct TTo, 4 of Kerr County,
and it appearing to the Court that the said Ashton Road has been continuousl~* maintained and
kect in repair as a public roadway by various County Commissioners of Precinct Pdo, 4 of Kerr
County for many years and that such fact is further verified by an affidavit executed by former
County Co riissioner Lee Goff as is of record in Vol. 104, Page 561, Kerr County Deed Records,
.which affidavit is hereby incorporated by reference into the terms of this order and made a
part hereof for all ruraoses, and it appearing to tho Court that the erection of a locked gate
across such pub7.ic roadway is contrary to and in violation of the laws of this State and
further contravenes the ch;ty of the Cora=nissioners Court to kee,~ all established public roadway=s
unobstructed for use by the rubLic, it is therefore ordered. on mction by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner i3artel and unanimously approved by the Court 1;hat George E, Noss,
a. resident of Kerr County, Texas, be ordered to remove all loc=a and connecting chains from
sucr. gates as he map have erected or may hereafter erect across the said Ashton Road, but that
he be permitted to retain all necessary and properly constructed gates across said roadway
