On this 11th day of September 1964, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax ;-urposes and setting valuations to be
employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 1965 ad valorem
taxes; and it appearing to the Court that the following ninimum standards of valuation should
be employed to secure fair, just and equal renditions, It is therefore ordered and the Tax
Assessor of Kerr County is herewith instructed to employ the following minimum values in
taking renditions for 1965 ad valorem taxes, it being the intent of the Court that the followi~

values shall be a binding minimum, but shall not be construed as in any way constituting a
maximum value, ?~4inimum valuation herewith ORDERED are as follows, to-wit: ~,
Ranch or grazing lands at u5,50, X4,40 and x"3,30, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands at X16,50 and j~11,00 per acre, depending on quality;
Cattle and horses x;25,00, sheep W3. 50 and goats X2,50 per head;
Automobiles at 25,! of Retail Book Value for models 1962 and netaer, including those held
by dealers;
All other property including merchandise inventoried, mobile trailer homes, air craft,
real estate not otherwise herein mentioned, at not less than 25~ of actual value.

On this the 14th day of September 1964, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and deputize Frances
Lindholm as a part-time Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said
officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore,
on motion made by Commissioner Witt, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously
approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Frances Lindholm as a part-time Deputy
Tax Assessor-Collector, to ba paid on an hourly basis. .-,

by Commissioner Schwethelm, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the professional
services of Lester B, 4Jhitton, Engineer, be retained for the purpose oŁ drawing plans and
specifications for an acoustical ceiling and replacing of light fixtures in the District Court
Room of the Court House.
