Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, ::t is Found
that the bid of Schreiner Ford Center in the amount of `1367.61, ~,rhich is the total difference
to. be paid by the Sheriff's Department between the new unit and the 1961 Chevrolet, !~ door
sedan, be accepted as the lovrest and best bid,

that the bid of Holt Machinery Company in the amount of :54,681,50 be accepted as the lowest
and best bid,

LdHEREA5, there has been created a vacancy in the office of County Commissioner of Precinct
Number Two of Kerr County as a result of the death of Prentice Witt who was heretofore the
duly elected and qualified Commissioner of said precinct, which desth occurred on the 2nd day
of December, 1961;; and
;'N~'REAS, by virtue of Article 2341, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, it has become the duty
