UFFER GUADALIJFE RIVER AUTHORITY WFv3N SUCH AvSESS''Si~NT5 AI1D COLLECTIONS ARE MADE BY THE ASSESSOR AND COLLECTOR OF TAXES FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the lath day of December, 1964, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of arriving at the fees to be charged the Upper Guadalupe River Authority, a political subdivision of the State of Texas, for the assessing and collecting of taxes levied by tho said Authority when such assessing and collecting is done by the Assessor and Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Assessor and Collector has heretofore been designated by the said Authority as its assessor and collector of taxes and that by virtue of Section 5, Article 1C42b, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, it is necessary for this Court to determine the amount of assessing and collecting fees to be paid by said Authority, doing so in concurrence with the governing body of the said Authority; and it further appearing to the Court that by virtue oŁ Attorney General's Opinion No. k'~~-283 rendered in 1959, a fee not to exceed one per cent of taxes collected may be levied both for the assessing and the collection of the taxes levied by the said Authority, it is ordered on ,,,., motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the fees to be charged the Upper Guadalupe River Authority by the Kerr County Tax Assessor and Collector be established as follows, subject to the concurrence herein by written order or resolution of the Board of Directors of said Authority: For the assessing of taxes levied by the Authority: One per cent of the taxes actually collected, For the collection of taxes levied by the Authority: One per cent of the taxes actually collected, And it is further ordered that the foregoing fees shall be in effect for taxes levied for the year 1964 and shall remain in effect for subsequent years for so long as taxes may be levied by the said Authority or until they may be revised by joint acticn of the Commissioners Court and the Board of Directors of the Ur per Guadalupe River Authority, o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o IIO. 9862 ORDER AUTHORIZING API'OINTMEIQT OF' JERRY S^^.ITH A$ PART-TIME DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK On this the Lth day of December 1964., came on to be considered by the Court the apnlica- tion of Ed Hone a, District Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Jerry Smith as a part-time Deruty District Clerk, to be paid on an hourly basis, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved;
