Gn this the 31st day of December 196(}. came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of protecting the newly installed carpeting in the front portion of the District
Court Room of the Kean County Ccurt House and it appearing to the Court that unregulated
smr,king in the area concerned would result in unnecessary damage tc the carpeting and create
an undesirable situation as to maintenance of the area, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
,_.. Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Musty and unanimously approved by the Court that smoking in
the carpeted areas of the District Court Room be prohibited at all times except on such
occasions when the area is being used for court purF:oses, and that on such occasion the
practice of smoking shall be regulated at the discretion of the presiding Judge of the Court,

the prescribed Certification of qualification made by the County Judge to the Secretary of
