considered by the Co~;rt the lacking of a gate across the Ashton Road,

to the Court that the anid Ashton Road has bees continuoualq maintained
end kept in repair as a public roadway by various Countq Commissioners
of ~raeinat No. ~ of Kerr Countq far manq gears and that such foot is
furt}x8r verified bq en affidavit ozacuted bq farmer Countq Commissioner

this erdea+ and made a part hereof far all purposes, and it appearing
t@ the Court that the eraotion of a looked gate across such publio
rt~a+c4~q 1s cantrarg to and in violation of the laws of this State and
furti~mr contravenes the dutq of the Gommissianers Court to keep all
established public roadwags unobstruotad for use bq the publio, it is
thtrafora ordered on motion bq Cammiasioner Stone, seoanded bq Com-~is-
sianer Bartel and unanimouslq apgrovad bq the Gaunt that George L, Ross,
a ra;sident of Karr Countq Texas, ba ordered to remove ail lacks and
aonnreting chains fro-n such gates as he maq have enacted or maq hera-
after.erect aorose the said Ashton Road, but that he ba permitted to
retain all necassarq and properlq constructed rates aorose said roadwaq
but to leave them sa latched that the publio may readily open, pass
throaxgYt and raclose the same and it is furthet~ ordered that the Clerk
of this Court shall prepare a eertifiad copy oP this order and attach
therata a certified copq of that certain affidavit recorded in Vol.
lOl~, Page 581, Kerr Countq Dead Records, and shall cause th® Sheriff
of Karr Countq to verve the same on the said Qeorga E, Rass~ and make
