Order~Redefining the Boundaries of Justice Precincts
Two and Three of Kerr County and Setting the Terms
of Court Therein,
On this the ~ptti day of liecer.~ber 196 c came on to be heard
and considered by the Court the matter of redefining the boundaries of Justice
Precincts Two and Three of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that
on the 12th day of August, 1965 the Court did redefine the boundaries of Voting
Precincts Two, Three and Eight of Kerr County to be effective February 1,
1966, and it further appearing to the Court that the boundaries of voting pre-
cincts must by law not cross the boundaries of a justice precinct and it further
appearing to the Court that Justice Precinct Two should comprise the same
geographic area as Voting Precinct No. 2 as redefined and that Justice Pre-
cinct No. 3 should comprise the same geographic area as Voting Precincts
Nos, 3 and 8 as redefined, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Baxtel seconded by Commissioner Ptosty and
unanimously approved by the Court that pursuant to Article 5, Section 18 of
the Constitution of the State of Texas, Justice Precincts Two and Three of
Kerr County be redefined by metes and bounds as hereinafter set forth, and
that, pursuant to authority contained in Article 2351 1J2, Vernon's Annotated
Texas Civil Statutes, the provisions of this order shall become effective on
February 1, 1966 and be in effect thereafter until altered by proper and lawful
order or statute, and it is further ordered that the terms of Court in Justice
Precincts Two and Three as redefined effective February 1, 1966 shall re-
main the same as set by the terms of Order No. 9353 as recorded in Vol, M,
Page 4 of the Minutes of the Court.
The boundaries of Justice Precincts Two and Three of Kerr County
are hereby defined effective February 1, 1966, by metes and bounds asfol-
lows:
JUSTICE PRECINCT NO. 2
BEGINNING at a point in Survey 1423, HE & WTRRGo. , situated approxi-
mately 3 miles N. 45°E, from the South corner of Survey 71, Wm, Watt, and due
West of the SW corner of Survey No, 1, AB & M; THENCE Southeasterly in a
direct line to the NW corner of Survey 33, G. 'P. Howard; THENCE South with
the West line of Survey 33 to the point of its intersection with a North line of the
present County Road known as Roane Road and continuing South with the existing
West line of the said Roane Road and the approximate West line of Survey 33 to
the North bank of the Guadalupe River; THENCE across the Guadalupe River to
its South bank at a point marking the NE corner of the Phillip Swayze property;
THENCE South with the East line of the said Swayze property to its SE corner,
a distance of 2432 varas, more or less; THENCE West with the South line of
