period from June 3G, 1964 and leaving a balance of "'3,986,00 on deposit in said Trust r^und
for the period ending December 31, 1?611.
It appearing to the Court that said reports are in due form and should be a; prove d;

On this the 11th day of January, 1965, at a Re;;ular 'T'erm of the Commissioners' Court, all
members being present, there cane on for consideration the matter of compensation of the
various County Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1965, as Provided for in Article
391?e, Section 2, R.C. S, of Texas, And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a
population of less than ?O,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census, and that the
interests of the County wr"uln be best served if the County Officials of Kerr County are paid
on a salary basis for the year 1965;
upon motion duly made b- Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissicner Bartel and un -
animously approved by the Ccurt, it is ordered that the County Officials of Kerr County be
paid on a salary basis as provided by lava, for the year 1965. It is further ordered b;r the
Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the
Comptroller of Public Accounts ir. Austin, Texas,

Precinct Officials oŁ the various precincts of Kerr County for the year 1965 as provided for
in Article 3912e, Section 6, R.C. S, of Texas. It appearing to t}~e Court that the interests of
the Co~.znty would be best served if the Precinct Officials of Kerr County are paid on a salary
basis for the year 1965;
Upon Motion duly made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Mosty and un-
animously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials o.f Kerr County be paid on a salary
basis for the ,year 1965, as provided by law, It is further ordered that the Clerk of this
Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the State Comptruller of =ublic
