On this the 11th day of January 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the payment
to be made to the Kerr County Memorial Library for rendition of public library service for Kerr
County as per contract for the year 1965; and it appearing to the Court thab the sum of
w21F00,00 heretofore budgeted for such service for the year 1965 is reasonable and within
existing contractual terms, it is Ordered on motion by Commissioner Scl1wethelm, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk and Treasurer
be, and are hereby directed to draw a voucher on the General Fund for rendition of :ublic Library
Service for Kerr County as per contract for the year 196$,

On this the 11th day of January 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity
to make notice by publication for the County Depository for tcao ensuing years, as per Article
2504, Vernon's Texas Statutes, and it arpearing to the Court that such notice should be in
compliance with Article 2544. V.T,S, to enter into a contract with any banking corporation,
association or individual banker of said County, for the Depository of the County Funds, County
and District Court Trust Funds, and County Public School Funds of said County in any bank;
therefore, on motion duly made by Commissioner St~•ne, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and
unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Judge be, and is hereby directed to issue
such notice of Publication in the official newspaper of Kerr County located within the City of
Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, within twenty days before the Regular February Term, to comply
with said Article 2544, V,T,S.

On this the 11th day of January 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the day and
dates to be fixed by the Court as legal holidays for the year 1965 , also that the Court House
shall be closed on those days, and the Court is of the opinion that the following days and dates
are and shall be declared as legal holidays for the County:

September 6th
November 11th
November 25th
December 24th
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Therefore, on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court
unanimously a^proved that the County observe all the above mentioned holidays.

On this the 11th day of January 1965, came on to be censidered by the Court the matter
of employing the firm of Pressler, Hartman and 'Phompson to make audit of the books of the
County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, for the calendar year of 1964. It is ordered on
motion -Wade by Commissioner Schwethelm, duly seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court that the above named firm be so employed,
