On this the 8th day of March 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the application
of Sheriff Leon F, Maples, for authority to deputize George W, Scheirton as Deputy Sheriff-
Nightwatchman. It appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that
his application should be approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize George W. Scheirton as Deputy Sheriff-Nightwatchman, at a salary of X100,00 per month,
plus travel allowance of r~30,00 per month.

the Court, it is ordered on motion by Comm issioncr Stone, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, and
unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay the seven heirs at law
of S, M. Lee, Deceased, the sum of 'jy910.00 for land and damages as a consideration for their
conveyance to the State of Texas of 0,137 acres of land out of Survey No, 129, F, Trevino in
the town of Ingram, such payment to be made upon approval by the Texas Highway Department of
their properly executed deed of conveyance, with payment to be made before the conveyance
is placed of record, and it is further ordered that upon approval of the instrument of convey-
ance by the Texas Highway Department, the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw seven
individual vouchers on the Highway 39 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of X130.00 each with one
voucher to be payable to each of the following seven heirs at law of S. M, Lee, Deceased:
Pink Lee, Burnett Lee, Archie Lee, Lao Lee, Charlie Lee, Nina Lee Sherc;an and
Leona Lee Grumbles.

matter of compensation to be offered the nine heirs of C. H. Switzer, Deceased, for the
conveyance of right-of-way required for State Highway 39 at Ingram, and after due considera-
tion by the Court it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel seconded by Commissioner
Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay the nine
heirs at law of C. H. Switzer, Deceased, the sum of X1,250,00 for land and damages as a
consideration for their conveyance to the StatŠ of Texas of 0,150 acres of land out of Survey
129, F, Trevino in the town of Ingram, such payment to be made upon approval by the Texas
Highway Department of their properly executed deed of conveyance, with payment to be made
before the conveyance is placed of record, and it is further ordered that upon approval of
t';e instrument of conveyance by the Texas Highway Department, the Clerk and the Treasurer be
authorized to draw nine individual vouchers on the Highway 39 Right-of-Way Fund as follows:

of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to deputize Marjorie ldise as Deputy
Tax Assessor-Collector, It appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said
Deputy and that her application should be approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner
Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer
be authorized to deputize Marjorie Wise as Depute Tax Assessor-Collector at a salary of "220.00
per month.
