239 N0. 9954 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S QUARTERLY REPORTS ON TRUST FUND AND FINES On this the 12th day of April 1965, came on to be examined by the Court the Quarterly Report of all monies and fees collected by Emmie M, Muenker, County Clerk, belonging to officers, witnesses and other persons, remaining in her hands uncalled for by the parties entitled thereto, for the period ending the 31st day of March 1965 and held on deposit in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of X719.81, Also Quarterly Report of Fines Imposed, Jury and Library Fees, Judgments received and collected in the County Court by the Clerk of said Court, in the amount of X1954.95. It appearing to the Court that said reports are in due form and should be approved; therefore, on motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved said reports as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk. O-G-O-G-O-C-O-G-G-O N0, 9955 SCHOOL TRTJSTEES ELECTION RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED This the 12th day of April 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the returns to be canvassed, to determine the results of the School Trustee Election held on April 3, 1965, which included: Ingram Common School District No. 2 Hunt Independent School District Divide Common School District No, 12 Center Point Independent School District County Board Trustee at Large County Board Trustee Commissioner's Prec, #2 County Board Trustee Commissioner's Prec, #4 Special Referendum on Consc•lidation for Center Point Independent School District Wherefore, the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above mentioned Districts, is of the opinion that said returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated in Volume 5, page 31, Record of Election Returns, and as certified by each member of the Commis- sioners' Court, upon motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, and un- animously approved by the Court, o-o-o-o-c-o-o-o-o-c N0. 9956 ORDER DESIGNATING CHAS, SCHRETNE;R BANK AS COUNTY DEFOSITORY On this the 12th day of April 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of designating the official Depository of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the Depository Pledge Contracts submitted by the Chas, Schreiner Bark covering deposits of County Funds, County and District Court Trust Funds and County School Funds which have heretofore been approved by the Court pursuant to Order No, 9943, entered on the 8th day of March 1965, have now been duly approved by the State Comptroller and by the Texas Education Agency, it is therefore Ordered on motion by Commissioner Stcne, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas, Schreiner Bank be and is hereby designated as the official Depository of Kerr County for a two year period, f'or the purpose of being the depository for County Funds, County and District Court Trust Funds and County School Funds, and it is further Ordered that the County Clerk of Kerr County record such depository pledge contracts as required by law, and that the Clerk deliver all extra copies of said contracts, together with a copy of the Order to the said Chas, Schreiner Bank. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-c-o-G NO, 9957 ORDER AUTHGRIZING INVESTMENT OF COUDiTY PERMANENT SCHOOL FUNDS On this the 12th day of April 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain funds now on deposit in the account of the Kerr County Permanent School Fund and it appearing to the Court that said funds in the amount of X3,000,00 2~~ should be invested as required by law, and that the amount presently available could be invested advantageously in Stanton Independent School District Bonds, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Mosty and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas, Schreiner Bank be authorized to invest all presently uninvested funds on deposit in the account of the Kerr County Permanent School Fund, as nearly as practicable, in Stanton Independent School District Bonds, in the amount of X3000.00 par value, due May 15, 1986, doing so at the Bank's discretion, whenever such bonds can be purchased at par or below, o-o-o-c-o-o-o-o-o-e No. 9958 ORDER EXERCISING OPTION TO PURCHASE ONE CATERPILLAR N0, 112 MOTOR GRADER LEASED UNDER CONTRACT DATED APRIL 14, 1961}. On this the 12th day of April, 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the Lease Purchase Contract executed by Kerr County and the W, K, Holt Machinery Company on April lµ, 1964 for ono Caterpillar Motor Grader and it appearing to the Court that payments on the said contract are due on April 14, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969, but that sufficient funds not otherwise required are now on deposit in the County Depository of Kerr County and that a saving of interest payments on the total unpaid balance of this contract could be effected by exercising tho option to purchase the said motor grader under the terms set forth in said contract; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County exercise the aforesaid option as set forth in the aforementioned contract and declare its intention to purchase the said motor grader as of April 14, 1965, by making payment of the total balance due on the original contract plus interest at 42'1 per annum on said balance from April 14, 1964 to April 14, 1965; And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw the following voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund of Kerr County payable to the Chas, Schreiner Bank, assignee of W.
