of Leon F. Maples, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to deputize t'r_e following
persons and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said deputies and that
his application should be approved; thereforo on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner i~iosty, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize the following:
RAYr10IQD LEE RHODES, Deputy Sheriff at a salary of 423900.00 per annum, effective as
of June 14, 1965.
WILLIATi 0. STfiITH, Deputy Sheriff-Plight Watchman at a salary of 7100.00 per month,
plus X30,00 per month for car allowance, effective June 16, 1965.

Un this the 14th day of June 1965, came on to be considered by the Court the application
of Emcrie 24, Muanker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Charlotte Vaught
as Deputy County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said
Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore on motion made by Commissioner
Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that said officer
be authorized to deputize Charlotte Vaught as Deputy County Clerk, at a salary of ~;21U.00 per
