PIO. 10038 ORDER AUTHORIZING AiPLICATION FOR KE:Hft COUPITY LATERAL ROAD SURPLUS FUNDS IN ACCOUNT
.. WITH BOARD OF COUNT'X AND DISTRICT ROAD INDEBTEDNESS
On this the 9tri day of August 1965, it coming to the attention of the Court that there
will be surplus funds in the amount of ;20,864.12 credited to the lateral road account of
Kerr County by the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness of the State of Texas and it
appearing to the Court that funds should properly be expended for the purpose of construction
and improvement of lateral roads within Kerr County, it is ordored on motion by Commissioner
Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr
County request the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness to forward the said funds
to the Treasurer of Yierr County upon their becoming available; and it is further ordored that
all such funds are here and now earmarked, set aside and designated to be used by Kerr County
for the purpose of construction and improvement of Kerr County Lateral Roads, and the
Treasurer of Kerr County be directed.to deposit such funds upon their receipt in the proper
fund in the County Depository and it is further ordored that the County Clerk prepare a
certified copy of this order and forward the same to the Board of County and District Road

Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that the County
Clerk be hereby directed to issue notice by publication, with notice thereof to be published
in the official newspaper of Kerr County one time, that the Commissioners Court of Kerr County
will submit for consideration of the public, a Budget for the Control of the County Financial
Affairs during the fiscal year January 1st, 1966 to December 31, 196b, the same to be at a

provisions of Article 2?92, Vernon's `Texas Civil Statutes as amended et'fectivo August 30, 19b
and it appearing to the Court that under terms of Article 2792 as amended - fees for the
assessing and collection of taxes of school districts other than common school districts must
be arrived at by the Court, and it further appearing that insofar as such Schcol Districts
for which assessments and colloctinns ware made £or the yesr 1961+ are concerned, the fees
provided for by Article 27 `i2 prior to its 1965 amendment *aere equitable and not in excess of
actual costs incurred by the Kerr County Assessor and Collector of Taxes for such services
and that said fees were 1'j'o for assessing and 1% for collection of taxes, it is ordered on
motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner T~losty and unanimously approved by the
Court that, effective August 30, 1965 and until further ordersby this Court, the fee for the

Commissioner Schwetholm, to reject the Edwards Plateau, Bunting, Fishing, and Trapping
Proclamation No, A-13, Commissioners Stone and Schwethelm voted "AYE" and Commissioners Mosty
and Bartel
/voted "P70" and County Judge Julius R, I•Taunhoffer voted "NO", said motion failed to carry for
lack of majority vote.

On this the 9th day of August, 1965, came on to be considered by the Commissioners' Court "'
of Kerr County, Texas, Edwards Plateau Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation No, A-18,
issued and adopted by the Par}ss and Wildlife Commission of the State of 'Poxes on the 29th day
of July 1965, and it being found and determined by the Court that (1) this is the first regular
meeting of such Court occurring; more than five (5) days after the meeting of the Parks and
LJildlifa Commission at wiiicYx such Proclamation was adopted; (2) prior hereto, on the 1st day
of June 1965, a public hearing was held in Kerr County by an employee of the Parks and 'rildlife
Commission relative to proposed Proclamation No. A-18, and (3) notice of such public hearing
was given in a newspaper published in Kerr County at least ten (10) days prior to the date of
such hearing, and after a reading of the terms of the said proclamation all interested parties
having bean given an opportunity to be heard thereon, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Nlosty, seconded by Commissioner I3artol, with Commissioners T'"iosty and Bartel voting "AYc~" and
Commissioners Schwet'rxalm and Steno voting "PIO" and County Judge Tleunhoffer voting "AYr';", said
motion carrying by a majority vote, that the said Proclamation I}o. A-18 be in all thinE;s
approved by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, and that said proclamation be recorded '
verbatim in the I4inutas of this Court as an appendix to this order.
