was unanimously approved by the Court and ordered filed for futura reference and subject to

On this the 12th day of August, 1965 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of rodefinin~ the boundaries of Election Precincts Nos, 1, 2, 3, 8, 12, 14, 15 and
17, and on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner i~iosty, it is hereby
ordered that the boundaries of Election Precincts Tdos, 1, 2, 3, 8, 12, l<{., 15 and 17 be
redefined, with such revised boundaries to be in full S'orce and effect for all elections held
on and after February 1, 1966 and it is further ordered that the field notes of tyre said
redefined Election Precincts be recorded in the Record of Election Precincts, that notice
hereof be published for three consecutive weeks in the official newspaper of Kerr County as
required by Article 2,04., Texas Election Code, and that a certified copy of the revised field
notes be furnished the Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County by September 1, 1965,

On this the 27th day of August 1965 came on to be considered by the Court the Public
Hearing in the matter of the adcption of the County Budgat for the year 1966, It appearing
to the Ccurt that proper notices have boon published in the official newspaper of Kerr Ccunty
in the City of Kerrville, Texas, for one weak prior to the hearing date hereof, and after
thorough examination by the Court and the consideration of the public interest of the Community,
the Court is of the opinion that the proposed budget should be approved, Therefore, on moticn
made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Corunissioner I<Iosty, the Court unanimously approved
the adoptior, of the County Budget for 1966,

On this the 27th day of Au`;ust, 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the

proposal of the Texas Higriway Department to reconstruct a portion cf F, M, Road b89 in Kerr
County comprising approximately 6,2 miles of zhe existing route of said roadway and commencing
at a point L~,L miles southeast of State Highway Tdo, 16 and running to a point 6 miles south;
and it appearing to the Court that the reconstruction of this portion of F, M. Road 6b9 to
standards adeauate to accomodate present and future traffic needs is essential and in the best
interests cf both Kerr County and. the public as a whole; and it further appearing to the Ccurt
that Kerr County will have available during the calendar year 196b sufficiont funds not other-
wise committed to procure and fence the additional right-of-way required by the 'T'exas Highway
Department, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Mosty, seconded by Commissioner Stone and
unanimously approved by the O'ourt that Korr County hereb~t accepts the proposal of the `Texas
Highway De,-artment to reconstruct that portion of F. N1, Road n&9 in iierr County as above set
forth and that Kerr County hereby agrees to purchase and fence the necessary additional right-
of-way required, doing so, when requested, during the calendar year 1960; and it is furtr?er
ordered that certified copies of this Order be furnished the 'texas Highway Department,

Clarice Idiedenfeld as to two parcels of abandoned Rift-of-tday of F, ',~i, Road o8y, and it
appearing to the Court that pursuant to Order fio. 91311 encored on hiarch 17, 1962 Y.err County
did agree to request the Texas Highway Department to return to Kerr County certain portions
of P,ight-of-viay of F. `ri, Road 6~9 scheduled for abandonment and to in turn convey said abandon-
ed Right-of-'r: ay to I>Ir. and ^1rs, lliedenfold as a portion of the consideration due them for their
granting certain Right-of-Iday and Channel Yasements to the State of Texas for the purpose of
relocating F. I+i, Road 6FS9, and it furthor ar~pearing to the Court that pursuant to Urders No.
9972 and TZo, y985 entered on April 12, 196y and May 10, 1965 ti;a State of Texas has by Deed
duly recorded in the Kerr County Doed Records quitclaimed the portions of abandoned Rigilt-of-
t^tay reforred to in Order I3os. 9131F, whic'x~ abandoned right-of-way comprises 1.190 acres of land
being 6,516 acres out of %dm. "Matt Survey No. ~5 and ;.t,71;. acres out of lum, lvatt Survey No. 611,
it is therefore ordered on motion by Com*nissiuner Schwetr.elm seconded by Coi:~riissiener Stone
and unanimous l; approved by the Court that 1':err County shall, pursuant to the provision of said
Order No. J13Lt, deliver a C;',uitclaim Deod to Benno L, ^+iedenfeld and wife, Clarice 6aiedenfeld as
to the 12.190 acres of abandonİd Ri;;ht-of-play abcvo described, and 'the County Judge is hereby
authorized to exocute the necessary quitclaim Dead for and on behalf of Kerr County.
