On this the 3rd. day of Septarnber 1965 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
proposed establishment of a State Child lJe1f`are Services Office in Kerr County and it appearing
to the Court that the services proposed to be rondo red by the said division of the State
Department of Public lielfare would be advantageous to the Courts, schools and other public
agencies of the County and that such useful proposed services are not now being rendered in
Kerr and surrounding Counties, it is Ordered on motior, by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded

Commissioner Stone voting "NO", said motion carrying by a majority vote, that F{err County
through its County Judr-,e join in the request of the City of Kerrville, the Kerrville Independ-
eat School District and other interested parties in requesting the Commissioner of 'rublic
'Jlelfare to establish a State Child i~Jelfare Services Gffice in Kerr County and it is further
ordered that Karr County will, upon request, contribute an amount not in excess of v 25.00 par
month towards defraying the cost of providing office space, utilities and janitorial services
necessary for the function of the said Chilci Welfare Services Uffice,
