Wherefore the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above mentioned
Election, is of the opinion that said returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated in
Volume 5, Page 32, Record of Election rteturns, and as certified by each member of the Commis-
sinners' Court, upon motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner i~iosty, are un-
animously approved by the Court.

N0. 10070 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS OF OFFICERS HOLDING SPECIAL COIJSTITUTIONAL ANIENDNiENT ELECTION
On this the 13th day of September 1965, came on to be examined by the Court the claims
and accounts filed by each election official, indicating the number of hours each had rendered
in the perfox•mance of his duties in regard to the Special Constitutional Amendment Election
held September 7, 1965.
It appearing to the Court that said Election Judges be paid, as per claim on file, at
$1.00 per hour and $2.00 additional for the Presiding Judges for bringing in the returns,
including the Absentee Box.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Nlosty and unanimously
approved by the Court.

On this the 13th day of September 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and setting valuations to be
employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, in taking renditions for 19or.

ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to the Court that the following minimum standards of

valuation should be employed to secure fair, just and equal renditions. It is therefore
ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is herewith instructed to employ the following
minimum values in taking renditions for 1966 ad valorem taxes, it being the intent of the Court
that the following values shall be a binding mimimum, but shall not be construed as in any way
constituting a maximum value. Minimum valuation herewith ORDERED are as follows, to-wit:
Cattle and horses $25.00, Goats $2.SU, and Sheep $3.50
Ranch or grazing lands ~> $5.50, $4.40 and $3.30, depending on quality;
Cultivated lands L $16.50 and $11.OC, depending on quality;
Automobiles at 25jo of Retail Book Values for Models 1963 and newer, including those held
by dealers;
All other property including merchandise inventories, mobile trailer homes, air craft,
real estate not otherwise he rein mentioned at not less than 25yo of actual value.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and adopted by the
Court, effective this date.

Telephone Coop. to use the Agriculture Exhibition Building on October 4, 1965 for their annual
meeting, at no charge except janitor service.

On this the 13th day of September 1965, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that Vivian Shannon be appointed
Presiding Judge of Election for Election Precinct iVo. 7 to replace J. S. A. Spicer who resign-
ed, and that Mrs. Frank Jones be appointed Assistant Presiding Judge of Election for said
Election Precinct No. 7.
