County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $10,000.OG from the General
Fund to the Offi cers Salary Fund.

On this the 13th day of September 1965, came on to be heard and reconsidered by the Court
the amount of compensation offered Mabel L. Mayhew and William J. Mayhew for their conveyance
to the State of Texas of 0.405 acres of land for right-of-way for State Highway 39 at Ingram
and it appearing to the Court after negotiations with the owners of the said tract of land
that an increase in the compensation originally offered is justified, it is ordered on motion ^
by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Mosty, and unanimously approved by the Court
that the compensation originally offered the said Mabel L. Mayhew and William J. Mayhew be
increased to $750.OU, and tYiat Order No. 10,066 originally entered on September 3, 1965 be
amended by deleting the figure"$500.00" whenever it appears in said order and substituting
therefor the figure"$750.00".

N0. 100$2 OFFER TO SOLON B. DOWDY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 39 AT INGRANI
On this the 13th day of September, 1965, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of compensation to be offered Solon B. Dowdy for his conveyance of Hight-of-Way
required for State Highway 39 at Ingram, and after due consideration by the Court, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay Solon B. Dowdy the sum of $40$.00
for land and damages as consideration for his conveyance to the State of Texas of 0.495 acres
of land out of Survey 131, J. Beitel, said land being a porn on of the said Solon B. Dowdy's
separately owned and non-homestead property and consisting of two tracts of new right-of-way
comprising 0.204 acres of land and 0.291 acres of land within the right-of-way of existing
State Highway No. 39, with such payment to be made upon approval by the Texas Highway Depar4nent

of his properly executed deed of conveyance, with payment to be made before the conveyance is
placed of record, and it is further ordered that upon approval of the instrument of conveyance
by the Texas Highway Department, the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the Highway 39 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $k0$,00 payable to Solon B, Dowdy; and
it is further ordered that in addition to the foregoing cash consideration, Kerr County will
relocate the existing fence and entrance gate on the north side of Highway 39 on the new north
right-of-way line of said highway.

N0, 100$3 ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY FOR ESTIiv1ATBD COST
OF RELOCATING ELECTRIC LINES AND INCREASING GROUND CLEARANCE O1V HWY. 39 AT INGRANI
On this the 13th day of September 1965 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the proposal of the Lower Colorado River Authority, an agency of the State of `Texas, to relocate
its electric distribution lines and increase ground clearance at certain points along Highway
39 at Ingram which relocations were requested by Kerr County at points where existing poles
and/or guy wires are located within the additional right-of-way obtained by Kerr County for the
State of Texas and it appearing to the Court that such proposal should be accepted, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel and seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court that the said proposal be accepted by Kerr County, and that the County
Judge be authorized to execute the necessary written agreement on behalf of Kerr County and it
is further ordered that the Clerk and the 't'reasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the
Highway 39 R/W Fund in the amount of X375.9$, payable to the Lower Colorado River Authority,
the said voucher representing the estimated cost to Kerr County for the said relocations, the
payment of this sum being required by the Lower Colorado River Authority as a prerequisite
to their proceeding with the aforesaid relocations.
