On this the 18th day of October, 1905 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of compensation to be offered ivlary Belle French, a feme sole, for her conveyance of
Hight-of-Way required for State Highway 39 West of Ingram, and after due consideration by the
Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone seconded by Commissioner Schwethe]m and
unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay 1~Iary Belle French the
sum of $9,250.00 for land and damages as conoideration for her conveyance to the State of Texas
of 5.034 acres of land out of Survey 130, F, Trevino and 131, J. Beitel West of Ingram, v;ith
such payment to be made upon delivery of her properly executed deed of conveyance, and it is
further ordered that upon delivery of the instrument of conveyance, the Clerk and the Treasurer
be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 39 Hight-of-Way Fund in the amount of X9,250.00
payable to Mary Belle French.

CJE{EREAS, Article 7336f, Vernon's Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, requires that the
Assessor-Collector of Taxes shall cause to be compiled a delinquent tax record; arid,
WHEREAS, Article 7336f further requires that t}:e Assessor-Collector of Taxes shall cause
to be prepared a two year supplement, or a recompilation, i. he r. as many as two years taxes have
become delinquent which are not shown on t]ie delinquent tax record of his county; and,
4'J}{EREAS, The Assessor- Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, 'Texas deer,~s it necessary and
expedient to contract with a competent firm tc compile said delinquent tax record under his
supervision; and,
6JHEI?EAS, C. H. Law Tax Records, Inc., with its principal office in Austin, Travis County,
Texas, is engaged in and nov, does such work and represents that it is ful]_y equipped, competent
and capable of performing the above desired vrork and is willing and ready to perform said work
in accordance with the provisions of law, rulings of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, Austin,
Texas and suggestions of the Assessor-Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, 'Texas; and,
GJFiEREAS, after having made careful. investigation of C. R. Law Tax Records, Inc. and after
having considered the sane, the Assessor-Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, Texas desires to
enter into contract vrith the said C. R. Law Tax Records, Inc., fir compiling a delinquent tax
record for the years 1939 to 19b4, both inclusive.
