IIO. 10135 Ox DER CONCURRING IN REVISED FLANS FOR PRGPOSED AIRFORT IMPROVEMEN'T'S
On this the 13th day of December, 1965 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of certain proposed improvements at the City-County Airport, and it appearing to
the Court that Kerr County dia on July 3, 1964, pursuant to Order No. 9756 as recorded in the
Minutes of the Court, agree to participate in the cost of certain proposed airport improve-
ments, the cost of which was to be borne partially by Federal Funds, and it now appearing
to the Court that the application for such Federal participation has been approved as to only
a portion of the originall~~ proposed improvements, namely certain proposed taxiways, and it
further appearing to the Court that the City of Kerrville has agreed to proceed with that
portion of the proposed improvements for which Federal funds have been allocated, contingent
upon the concurrences by Kerr County and the other participants in the original commitment,
and it also appearing to the Court that such approved improvements are necessary to the use
and operation cf the airport and that the revised estimated cost thereof dogs not exceed the
amount to which Kerr County was originally committed, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner

Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr
County join in the proposal of the City of Kerrville to proceed with the proposed airport
improvements for which Federal funds have been allocated, provided that Kerr County's share
of the cost thereof' shall be in the same ratio as contemplated by Order No. 9756, and that
the other original participants in the local fund commitments concur herein.

fixing the fees of Special Commissioners in Eminent Domain Proceedings filed within Kerr
County, Texas; and it aypearing to the Court that by virtue of Article 326b Section 3 as
amended, the duty has vested upon the Court to set aside such fees, at a sum of not less than
X10.00 for each day said Commissioners are engaged in the performance of their duties, it is
therefore Ordered that effective this date the fee of such Special Commissioners in Eminent
Domain Proceedings filed in Kerr County, Texas be, and is set at the sum of Ten Dollars

On this the 13th aay of December, 196 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of an agreement with the City of Kerrville whereby Kerr County would contract with
the City of Kerrville i'or the rendition of Public Library Services to the residents of Kerr
County through ana by the operation and maintenance by the City of the proposed Butt-Hoids-
worth Memorial Library; and after due consideration by the Court of the benefits which wculd
accrue to all of the residents of Kerr County from such an agreement, it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Mosty, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the
Court that Karr County hereby offers ana agrees to contract with the City of Kerrville for
such services upon the following terms and conditions, to-wit:
1. Tyre Commissioners Court will contract with the City of Kerrville for the rendition of
Public Library Services to the citizens of Kerr County within the scope of she legal authority
of Article 169L~, Vernon's Annotated Texas Civil Statutes.
2. Legal title, control ana management of the proposed Butt-Holdswortn Memorial Library,
hereinafter referred to as the facility, shall be vested in ana remain the sole responsioility
of the City of Kerrville.
3, As consideration to be paid the Ci~y Łor their rendition of °ubiic Library Services, Kerr
County will contract to pay the City of Kerrville fifty per cent of the city's actual opera-
tional and maintenance costs incurred during each fiscal billing year as hereafter designated;
subject, however, to the limitations set forth in the following item Itumber 5,
L{. The term Fiscal Billing Year shall be defined as a period of 12 ca~endar months commencing
on October 1 ana ending on the z'oilowing Septemoer 30, witu she z'irst much Fiscal Billing Year
r^ commencing on October 1, 19b6. The designation of such Fiscal Billing Year is intended to
coincide witi~ Kerr County's Tax Collection Year.
