Order Accepting Proposal of the Texas Highway De-
partment to Reconstruct a Portion of F. M. Road 689
in Kerr County
On this the 27th day of August, 1965, came on to be heard and con-
sidered by the Court the proposal of the Texas Highway Department to re-
construct a portion of F, M, Road 689 in Kerr County comprising approxi-
mately i`•2 miles of the existing route of said roadway and commencing at
a point 4~ 1 miles southeast of State Highway No. 16 and running to a point

6 miles south; and it appearing to the Court that the reconstruction of this
portion of F, M. Road 689 to standards adequate to accommodate present

and future traffic needs is essential and in the best interests of both Kerr
County and the public as a whole; and it further appearing to the Court that
Kerr County will have available during the calendar year 1966 sufficient ,
funds not otherwise committed to procure and fence the additional right-of-
way required by the Texas Highway Department, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Mosty seconded by Commissioner Stone
and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the
proposal of the Texas Highway Department to reconstruct that portion of F.
M, Road 689 in Kerr County as above set forth and that Kerr County hereby
agrees to purchase and fence the necessary additional right-of-way required,
doing so, when requested, during the calendar year 1966; and it is further
ordered that certified copies of this Order be furnished the Texas Highway
Department,
