Gn this the 10th clay of January 1956, at a itegular Term of the Commissioners' Court,

all members being present, there came on for ccnsidoratiun the matter of compensation of the
various County Officials of Tiers County, Texas, for the year 1966, as provided for in Article
3912a, Section 2, R.C.S, of T'aras, And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a
population of lass than 20,000 inhabitants, according to the last -Federal Consus, and that the
interests of the County v;ould be host served if the County Officials of Herr County aro paid
on a salary basis for the year 1966;
upon notion duly made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and un-
animously al proved by the Court, it is ordered that tine County Officials o_° lion County be
paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1966, It is further ordered by the
Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and sand saran to the
Comptroller of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.

Procinct Officials of the various precincts of Barr County for the yoar 1966 as provided for
in Articlo 3912e, Section 6, R. C. S, of Texas, It appearing to the Court that the interests

of tho County would be bast served if' the Freci.nct Officials of Kerr County are paid on a
salary basis for the year 1966;

unanimously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a
salary basis for the year 1966, as provided by 1a~.r. It is further ordered that the Clerk of

On this the 10th day of January 1966, carte on to be heard and considered by the Court the

matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Yetit Jurors and Special Vaniremen in the
District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Caurt of Kerr County as is reauired
to be done annually by Article 2127_, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the Code of
Criminal Procaaura and Article 35.2Jr of tho Code of Criminal Procedure and after due considera-
lion, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Corru:issioner i4osty, and un-
animously a-proved by the Court, that file compensation to be paid during tYic year 1966 ana
until furt'rter orders of the Court to all file aforesaid classes of Jurors and Veniremen shall
be fired at ;,5,00 per day, including those surntnoned 'out who may bo e::cused for cause after
being tested cn voir dire, with such compensation to be paid out of the Jury Fund of Kerr
County.

the matter of filing the ccmpensation to be paid Grand Jury Bailiffs ai.pointed r:ursuant to
Article 19.36 cf the Coae of Criminal Frocedure ana i'etit Jury Bailiffs provided by the Sharif.f
pursuant to Article 36.21 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and it arnearing to the Court that
the rate of compensation for such Bailiffs should be fixed by the Court, it is ordered on
aotion by Commissioner I3artel, seconded by Cornsissioner Niosty and unanimously approved by the
Caurt that the compensation of Grand Jury Bailiffs and of retit Jury Bailiffs in both Criminal
and Civil Cases in all of the Courts of` Kerr County be fixed hereafter at the rata of'Sr5.G0
per day.
And it is further ordered that vouchers shall be drawn on the Jury Fund of Kerr County
to compensate all Bailiffs in the same manner as vouchers are drain to compensate Jurors servir>f,
in trte Court in which such Bailiff's may have served.
