Upon motion duly made by Conunissioner Stone, seconded by Commnissioner Schwethclm, and
unanimously approved by the Court, that the Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a
salary basis for the year 1966, as provided by latia. It is further ordered that the Clark of
t7is Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the State Cuml;trvller of
Public Accounts in Austin, Te:>as,

On this the 10th day of January 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen in the
District Court of Korr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County as is required
to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the Codİ of
Criminal Procedure and Article 35.21;. of tho Code of Criminal Procedure and after due considera-
tion, it is ordered un motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by C aruuissioner T.osty, and urr
animously a_pi°oved by the Court, that thİ compensation to be paid during tYic year 1966 and
until further orders of the Court to all fife aforesaid classes of Jurors and Veniremen shall
be fixed at ~,z5.G0 per day, including those sunrnoned 'out who may be excused for cause after
being tested on voir dire, taith such compensation to be paid out of the Jury Fund of Kerr
County,

pursuant to Article 36,21~ of the Code of Criminal Procedure and it a~_cearing to the Court that
the rate of compensation for such Bailiffs shores d be fixed by the Co~.irt, it is ordered on
:notion by Commissioner Bartel, secondİd by Corn:,7issioner T•'[osty and unanimously approved by the
Court that the compensation of Grand Jury Bailiffs and of Netit Jury bailiffs in both Criminal
and Civil Cases in all of tho Courts of Kerr County be fired hereafter at fife rate of 4{5.U0
per day.
And it is further ordered that vouchers shall be drawn on the Jury Fund of Kerr County
to compensate all Bailiffs in the same manner as vouchers are drawn to compensate Jurors servinf;
in the Court in which such Bailiff's may have served.
