parcels of land consisting of 5,568 acres of land out of the following Surveys located in
Korr County, Texas: 3.673 acres Survey 1355, S. H, Larrimore, 1,896 acres Survey 151+9, GC ~ ~•
SFRR Co, and to further secure for the State of Texas one Channel Easement comprising 0.115
acres out of S. H, Larrimore Survey 1355; and It appearing to the Court that tho offer for
land and damages made to the said Eugene T, Standley as is evidenced by Commissioners' Court
Order No. 10189 entered on the 17th day of February 1966 and recorded in Vol, TAI, Page 31{.6 of
the Minutes of this Court has been rejected by the said Eugene T, Standley, acting through
his attorney Hon, Joe Burkett, Jr „ and I6 further appearing to the Court that the rejection
of this and all other offers by Kerr County has left the parties concerned in a position of
being unable to agree as to the amount of compensation to which the said Eugene T, Standley
and wife, Elizabeth Standley are entitled to receive for the said tracts of .and and damages
which would accrue by reason of their conveyance, and it further appearing to the Court that
TIi11 Country Federal Savings and Loan Association, Inc, of Kerrville, 'Pexas, as lien holder
as to the aforesaid lands has executed and delivered a Partial Release of its liens against
the aforesaid lands and further waivod all claims against any compensation to be paid the said

It further appearing to the Court that further negotiations would be useless and to no
avail, it is therefore ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
Mosty and unanimously approved by the Court that Korr County, acting for and on behalf of the
State of Texas against the said Eugene T, Standley and wife, Elizabeth Standley of Bexar

County, Texas to secure for the State of Texas for Right-of Jay Purposes the aforementioned
5.568 acres of land and to further secure for the State of Texas for purposes of a Channel
Easement the use of the aforesaid 0.11 acres of land, said tracts of land being described
and shown more particularly on the Right-of-Way T.ap of the Texas Highway Department as approv-
ed October 28, 1965, covering a portion of F I.7 Hoad 1340 from 1.0 miles East of I+10 Ranch
West through Kerr Wildlife Management Area, to which map reference is herewith made; and
It is further ordered that County Attorney Robert R, Barton be retained to institute
such condemnation proceedings and that he be authorized and directed tc proceed forthwith on ~ - ,
behalf of Kerr County, acting for and in the name of tho State of Texas.

On this the 11th day of April 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that the County Glerk and County Treasurer
be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of X10,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Officers Salary Fund,

On this the 11th day of April 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer
be, and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of yp1,000,00 from the F/M Lateral Road Fund
to the F/M 1340 R/W Fund.
