^- On this the 9th day oŁ May 1966, came on to be examined by the	Court the various reports
of April of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas	and the same	having been
heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true	and correct	and	should
be approved; therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded	by Commissioner	Schwethelm,
the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accept	ed and filed	with the
County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit,

IJO, 10225 TERMINATION OF MON'PHLY ALLOWANCE OF ROBERT FURR
On this the 9th day of May 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Corrunissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of Robert
Furr be terminated, effective as of hiay 1, 1966.

PIO. 10226 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPOINTT~IENT OF FRAidK FELTS AS DEPUTY SHERIFF
On this the 9th day of May 196, came on to be considered by the Court the application
,-, of Leon Maples, Sheriff, for authority 'to appoint and deputize Frank Felts as Deputy Sheriff,
and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitlod to said Deputy and that the
application should be approved; therefore, on motion made by Commissioner NIosty, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize Frank Felts as Deputy Sheriff, at a salary of X3960.00 per annum, effective as of
May 15, 1966,

N0, 10227 ORDER RENEWITQG FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT 6JI'I'H THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEi.AS
On this the 9th Say of May 1966 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that
the existing Fire FightinE; Contract with the City of Kerrville, 'Texas will expire on May 31,
1966; and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working
arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the
citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the bast interests of Kerr County to renew

It is therefore Ordered on motion by Corrunissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
T~losty and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire bighting Contract with
the City of Ierrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year commencing on June 1, 1966
