On this the 9th day of May 1966, came on to be examined by the Court the various reports
of April of the County acid Precinct 0£ficers of Kerr County, Texas and the same having been
heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and should
be approved; therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm,
the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and filed with the
County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit,

Commissioner Mosty, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of Leonard
Oldham be terminated due to death and effective as of April 1, 1966.

Furr be terminated, effective as of May 1, 1966.

T10. 10226 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPOINTP'IENT OF FRAb1K FELTS AS DEPUTY SHi3RIb'F
On this the 9th day of May 1906, came on to be considered by the Court the application
^ of Leon Maples, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize Frank Felts as Deputy Sheriff,
and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitlod to said Deputy and that the
application should be approved; therefore, on motion made by Commissioner i4osty, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize Frank Felts as Deputy Sheriff, at a salary o£ 53960,00 per annum, effective as of
May 15, 1966.

N0. 10227 ORDER RENEWII3G FIi?E FIGHTING CONTRACT ,vI`i'H THE'; CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of May 1966 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that
the existing Fire Fi~htinl; Contract with the City of Kerrville, 'Pexas will expire on May 31,
1966; and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working
arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the
citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interests of Kerr County to renew
r-. such contract for a one-year period;
It is therefore Ordered on motion by Corrunissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
T~losty and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with
the City of Ierrville, Texas be renewed for a period of one year com-Fencing on June 1, 1966
