On this the 13th day of June 1966, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously aT~proved that the compensation of Grand Jury
Bailiffs and Petit Jury Bailiffs in both criminal and civil. cases in all of the Courts of
Kerr County be fixed hereafter at the rate of x10.00 per day and it is further ordered that
vouchers shall be drawn on the Jury Fund of Kerr County to compensate all Bailiffs in the
same manner as vouchers are drawn to compensate Jurors serving in the Court in which such
Bailiffs may have served.

On this the 13th day of June 1966, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
request for financial assistance for the purpose of defraying incidental expenses relative
to the operatior. and maintenance of Battery B, 5t'r. Battalion, 133rd Artillery, a Texas
National Guard Unit with head~iuarters situated in Kerr County and it appearing to the Court
"' that such assistance is urgently needed and is authorized by Art y786, Sec. 2, Vernons
Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County provide the sum
of ~s20.00 per month, effective June 1, 1.360 for the assistance of the aforesaid D?atioral
Guard Unit, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer draw vouchers each
month on the General Fund in the amount of .~20.C0 for this purpose.
