On this the 13th day of June 1y66, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the compensation of Gr:nd Jury
Bailiffs and Petit Jury B~ili£fs in both crimi.nel and civil cases in all of the Courts of
Kerr County be fixed hereafter at the rate of ;~10.C0 per day and it is further ordered t?iat
vouchers shall be drawn or. the Jury r'und oI' Kerr County to compensate all Bailiffs in the
same manner as vouchers are drawn to compensate Jurers serving in the Court in which such
Bailiffs may have served.

On this the 13th day of June 1966, came or_ to be heard and considered by the Court the
recuest for financial assistance for the purpose of defraying incidental expenses relative
to the operetior. and maintenance of Battery B, 5th Battalion, 133rd s'~rtiliery, a Texas
National Guard Unit with head.?usrters situated in Kerr County and it appearing to the Court
'~" that such assistance is urgently needed and is authorized by Art 5~E36, Sec. 2, Vernons
Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County provide the sum
of X520.00 per month, effective June 1, 1906 for the assistance of the aforesaid D?ational
Guard Unit, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer draw vouchers each
month on the General Furd in the amount of a20.~i0 for this purpose.
