On this the 1.3th day of June 1y66, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, secord-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the compensation of Grand Jury
Baiii££s and Petit Jury Bail if £s in both criminal and civil. cases in all o£ the Courts of
Kerr County be fixed hereafter at the rate of a1C.00 per dray and it is further ordered that
vouchers shall be drawn on the Jury Fund of Kerr County to compensate all Bailiffs in the
same manner as vouchers are drawr. to compensate Jurors serving in the Court in which such
Bailiffs may have served.

On this the 13th day of June 1966, carne on to be heard and considered by the Court the
request for financial assistance for the purpose cf defraying incidental experts es relative
to the operation and maintenance of Battery B, 5th Battalion, 133rd Artillery, a Texas
National Guard Unit with head~~uarters situated in Kerr County and it appearing to the Court
'-' that such assistance is urgently needed and is authorized by Art 5786, Sec. 2, Vernons
Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by th.e Court that Kerr County provide the sum
o.f ~s20.0O per month, effective June 1, 1966 for the assistance of the aforesaid National
Guard Unit, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the treasurer draw vouchers each
mont'r. on the General Fund in the amount of S2G.OO for this purpose.
